@foreignsgamingtech right! Getting a steam deck is one of my absolute favorite gaming devices I've ever used. Emulation is ridiculously easy on top of all of the high end games it can play ^_^ I have too many hours on Hades 1 and 2 on it lol
@@TheNightHawk85 I think I set up a PS1 emu on it, but ended up 100%-ing Hades 🫠 Great device for many use cases inseed!
It's super fun! A bit simplistic compared with Hades, but hopefully the devs keep giving it love. I know they have dlc planned for after the game comes out on Steam (later this year!)
@JawlessPaul all legendary powers in this game are "duo boons" in Hades terms and there are no single element legendary powers. This (lack of single element legendary powers) is one of the top reasons why Splintered Fate has a much lower ceiling in terms of creativity and replayability when compared to Hades. With the 6 elements (Flame, Water, Ooze, Utrom, Ninja, Astral Dark/Light) there are only a total of 12 combinations that could give a legendary once the required powers have been selected. Even if they were to fill out the rest of that combination matrix, there are 9 more potential combinations that don't yet have a legendary power which the game developers could've created a new legendary power for. I guess the game devs hit a creativity wall, got bored, ran out of time, or maybe just lazy. Looking closely at the 12 legendary powers, all 6 elements have 4 legendary combinations (with Astral being the exception: Astral Light has 2, Astral Dark has 2, which is technically 4 if you add them together).
Interesting. I found the "Finisher" legendary recently. Pretty sweet! :) I'm excited to see what they do with the dlc they have planned!
Revolution is one of the legendaries you can get. Keep experimenting as some of the legendaries are insanely powerful!
How do you get legendaries in this game?
@@MJthegoat2345 You need two tier 1 (i.e. water attack, flame attack) of a different elemental type, and one tier two (i.e inferno) to get a legendary, BUT its specific which ones will trigger the legendaries. Bright Spring you need water dash, splash damage, and light attacks (might need light embrace instead of splash damage, but I think I got it without it once). That one lets you heal 1 hp every attack, so on Mikey or Raph its insane. You need to play around with different combos. I'm surprised no one has put a complete list together yet, but I figure once this game hits PC, it will happen pretty quickly.

It seemed like a pretty mediocre legendary, but I found Finisher recently and it was amazing!
How do you get legendary powers in this game?
There are prerequisites you have to find between two turtle power groups. So for instance there's a dark astral/ninja duo legendary power that is a culling strike at 25% health. Pretty dope!
