We had a 2018 Cadillac CT6. It had night vision, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. It alerts you to animals/people around you. It worked flawlessly. I drove home one night (over 50 miles) through the country; and it was so foggy I couldn't see past the hood. With the night vision I could clearly see the road and everything around me. I drove home looking at the screen the entire time (and that screen was much smaller than what is on this Escalade). Also, driving at night, I was never worried about animals running into the road because night vision would alert me anytime there were animals on the side of the road (we live in a more rural area). I wish every vehicle had this option.

Nice nighttime review. Always loved Cadillacs lighting. I have a 2019 Escalade and look forward to trading it in for the V. Glad they kept the vertical tail lights. Wished they also kept the vertical headlights but by the looks of it they are going back to vertical headlights by looking at the new Lyriq which has the best looking headlights right now imo.
I have a 2016 Escalade and want a V Escalade too. Don’t know if I can afford it with the dealer mark up when it arrives. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it going for $150K.
@@holybusiness9624 I would honestly be shocked if it was priced under 150k. If you look at the CT5 and CT5 V Blackwing there is around a 40k jump. This current Escalade runs around 100k depending on options. Add 40k for the V and you’re already at 140k and that isn’t even the loaded Escalade which runs over 110k.
Get a Lexus.
I’ve always loved Cadillacs! I currently have a 2014 Escalade ESV and when I saw the V, I fell in love. That is the goal!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽. That car is as beastly as it is sexy and I’m definitely ready for it!
It's a beast of a vehicle and a beast of a profit maker for GM. They sold over 40K of these in 2021. Let that sink in. They own this segment by far. That said, the competition is stiff and GM should continue to refine it. Next month the specs for the Escalade V will be revealed. Can't wait.
I'm amazing that a vehicle going out the door at or over $100k found homes at over 40K volume.

Night Vision is great for someone who may be traveling down a very dark road with no street lights and deer or other animals jumping out into the road. Kind of a reinforced visual aid.

Wow I'm surprised the climate control bottom buttons don't have a soft illumination. In this video it looks like you can barely see them. Did you find yourself miss pressing the controls at all at night?

This new Escalade is hard to beat these days. To be Honest if you like to drive with all the tech and luxury in the world, Escalade beats everything out right now. Otherwise if you prefer to be driven the Range Rover serenity sv is best.
Seriously; with the cost of fuel & insurance your money could be better spent like paying off mortgage, debt, retirement savings or help your kids through University. Sharp looking vehicle though.
This SUV is meant for people who have money to blow. I have one and have no regrets buying it.
Shit only people with money can afford this. Now days all vehicles is expensive compared to 10 years ago. Average Joe's like myself can't afford. Gotta stick with 2010 or bellow vehicles.

Trash . I had electrical issues with this model. This happened at least 4 times . The dealer never found the problem. Cadillac has serious electrical issues but they keep it on the down low. All the mechanics that worked for Cadillac were telling me this.
thoroughly unimpressed for the price point.
