Exactly the kind of lesson I like to see. Excellently played and fingers clearly visible without taking an hour to break things down that guitarists playing this level of stuff should already know. That's all I need is clearly visible playthrough done at high accuracy. This will save me heaps of time getting this down 100%, much appreciated!
killed it. I am always struggling with playing this because my band does it but I have never learned it- it's one they toss out as a jam type thing. I play stuff that sounds ok but I am always torn with trying to decide if I am disrespecting SRV or if doing my "own take" is appreciated..............
@@mikebrookfield thats my tho8ghts on most stuff-- whenever I do a song from one of these "legends" I kind of wonder if I should though lol but yeah I likely will keep it in rotation
Cheers Mike, I've tried to play the solo for years without getting it quite right. Those slides make all the difference, and I could never get my head around them. Will take time to study to impress my fellow band mates next jam. Saved in favourites and subscribed.
the roto thing sounds interesting, When I see the more advanced players playing this song I noticed they are adding the vibrato in during the rhythm section, Baby this looks like a good tool to use if you're not good at throwing in that vibrato
@@mikebrookfield thanks :) youve become one of my favorite guitarists very quick. Love your phrasing.. I sent you a few tabs requests on your website. Im going to order your cds next week (hopefully) Thanks for the the lessons Brother ..
