Looks like some great picks and some I’ve never heard of. The American literature and all the books you chose look very interesting. And yeah Social can be a little confusing to define, but it’s actually a combination of different things- history, geography, culture, citizenship, economics and government, basically what helps me is thinking of it as ‘how society works’ past and present in our nation and other nations as well. Hope you have a great school year!
This was great. Totally looking forward to your other videos like morning basket. Just subscribed. I also have a channel mainly about homeschooling and would love to be friends and connect here 😊
Yes, but barely. Today my daughter did day 5. So I don't have much to say about it just yet. I can definitely do a follow up once we've used it a bit longer
@workinghomeschool That'd be great, thank you! I'm trying to piece together my 9th grade daughter's American History course, but it's turning out to be more than I can manage right now. We've used and enjoyed MB History in the past, so I've been considering it.
There is no textbook. All of the needed information is given via video. There are fill-in-the blank note pages that the student needs to fill out during the video. Those I printed off and included in the binder.
Great picks! We’ve used and loved Rod and Staff in the past as well.

That's is the most coherent answer I have ever gotten regarding social studies are. Thank you!
I’m so happy to see this level 5 rod and staff! I would love to know how it worked out for your daughter.

Hi, have you started Master Books American History? If so, how are you liking it?

Does the Dive science have notes/textbook to follow along with? I see the lab manual, but cannot determine if there is a textbook as well.
