As a sort-of percussionist myself, I appreciate that this band doesn't hide their percussionist under sheets and blankets. They allow him to play and express so that color, beat, and joy combine to give the music that extra spice.
Don't get me wrong, oatmeal is nice; but oat meal with butter, cinnamon, and honey is extra special nice!
Kicks up the music more than some digitized robot piano beat track.
It's amazing how many songs the Bee Gees wrote for other bands. I believe it's 100 or more.

Everybody has a place in HSCC (each one is wonderful) and everyone is unique but Constantine Delo enjoys each one of the interpretations, and he enjoys every performance of all crew.
Wow....Nikki and Danny just nailed this track! The entire band nailed it. As others have commented, Danny just gets better with every track he lays down and Nikki, well I can’t say enough about her beautiful voice, super stage presence and her being just an absolutely breathtaking beautiful young Lady!! First time listening to this group, and I must say, this old man was pleasantly surprised. I lived on a sailboat for 7 years and spent several winters cruising the Caribbean so I've always enjoyed this song and played it often on the CD.

Dolly and Kenny truly filled a room with poise, selflessness, caring, familiarity and the charisma of humble beginnings, out-of-this-world authenticity, simple charm, politeness, honest-to-goodness innocence, and undistracted presence, sadly, most people will never experience. Our modern society does not value those ideals, plainly and simply.

When a guy as talented as Dusty Stephensen does the backing vocal you get the idea of how many amazing talents this band always features.
Heuskes-Lopresto, what a fantastic duet, their voices go together so nicely. And Nikki, she's just a heartbreaker, who could resist her?
It's great seeing such talented singers willing to do backing. This is just one of the elements that makes HSCC so good!
I was thinking some of the same thoughts -- Nikki any Danny sound great together! I saw Dusty singing backup vocals and thought...hummm! I also said to myself, HSCC is just such a talented entity... they never disappoint! Great job everyone!!

I've listened to this rendition a Couple of times now.
Both singers are great, Niki had a cute twist in her voice...which comes across almost perfect..and with Daniel as usual, a great duo..

this is not a Dolly's song AT ALL.... this song was written by The Bee Gees for Kenny Rogers album "eyes that see in the dark"
I never cared for Dolly growing up in the 60s. But love this song with her and Kenny .

Dusty is an All -Star, amazing singer, solid guitar player and most importantly does whatever it takes to make the song groove.
He really is amazing, both as a singer and as a musician. I often listen to him in Wanderers on YT and I wish they'd release more material.

It's so nice to hear an engineer place the bass and snare where they should be in a mix! As both a sound engineer and bassist it's a cause of eternal frustration for me how few people seem to understand just how important the bass and snare are for driving the track, I love the fact they're so up-front in the mix here. A superb mix and superb playing by the band!

After a few moment, i search and listen the original version of Great Dolly Parton and Kenny Parton, but i don't know why, i prefere this HSSC version
