Just for the record the 300 combo didn't bug out. This game has a really dumb mechanic with the combo system that if you get hit you just lose it completely. You have to actively run away and let the combo end for it to count. Also the tacos fill your momentum attacks.
If you want a game to give you a challenge in terms of achievement, you should go for Yakuza 0 specifically the achievement, focusing on completing all 375 items on the completion list, and playing the game on legend difficulty
