I upgraded from my 6S Plus (finally!) to the 14 several months ago, and since it was such a huge upgrade I'm very happy with it. All I do is text and take pictures of my cats so I certainly didn't need anything fancier.
Fair enough. I can imagine how big of an upgrade the 14 would’ve been from a 6S, but well done for keeping that for so long lol. Do you also plan to hold onto your 14 for years to come?
@@SaranByte Yep. I upgraded because the battery in my 6S would no longer hold a charge. Unless something truly amazing comes along I'll do the same with the 14 because it's a good phone.
I now have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and it’s great. Still lacks some of the features of the latest but for now it’s all I need. I bought it refurbished and isn’t a problem as I planned it as a temporary replacement. If the price is good consider a refurbished version instead.
Yeah completely agreed. After exploring the refurb options from various retailers across the last year or so, I definitely don’t want to be paying the extra for a new device anymore. Apart from the packaging, the product themselves are usually pristine and are much cheaper.
@@SaranByte I used to get my phones from Amazon interest free over 5 payments. That seems to have ended and you have to buy outright or with interest from Barclays. In which case why not buy direct from Apple as soon as it comes out. Amazon only get stock a few weeks later. Unless you have a good reason for the latest product like being able to take photos with it then older models will be almost as good. I am usually pretty fast to clear the memory of any downloads that I save to an external drive so can manage with base memory. I did try a basic silicone case which was fine unless I tried to use MagSafe. So had to buy another MagSafe case as well, but that was only a few pounds wasted. Overall though it’s still under £470 for a phone with a case and big screen.
My a71 is still going very well now...almost 4 yrs..but tempted but this iphone 14 because i like the purple one. Since the 15th no purple color no more.
Yeah this phone is basically iPhone 13. Honestly I doubt many people would go with this. The similarity with the iPhone 13 and the quite the upgrade with the iPhone 15 made this phone quite forgettable.

At last, an upbeat review for the iPhone 14. I own one, and I'm absolutely smitten with it. It's a powerhouse!
What color is your iPhone 14
Blue
There are some reviewers who really don’t scratch the surface.

I upgraded from a Samsung a71 which I had for 3 years to the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 is my first ever iPhone.
I have the a71, was it worth the switch, it would be my first iphone too
@@neverfaide yes because my a71 fell in water

Thank you for the in-depth review ☺️
Happy New year to my love ❤😝
Haha happy new year bro 👊
Basically, you should get iPhone 13 because iPhone 14 is practically the same for what you need.

@@footballfan283 That's exactly why iPhone 14 is literally F tier
@MaximusPendang Tell me what iPhone 14 brought that 13 doesn't have and that is something that majority of people will see, use and appreciate
@@MaximusPendang Glad you realised. Np man
14 amazing a phone
My only demerit with the phone is the camera color science. Battery I can’t tell much…
Yeah Smart HDR can be a little iffy at times, but it does the job for the most part. Battery life has been great for me
13pro better
And? You can't even get a new one anymore
