--- LYRICS
Oh we ain't got a barrel of money
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But we'll travel along
Singing a song side by side
Don't know what's coming tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load side by side
Through all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall?
Just as long as we're together
It doesn't matter at all
When they've all had their quarrels and parted
We'll be the same as we started
Just traveling along
Singing our song side by side - Развлечения
I'm staying with my 96 year old Gramma this week and she started singing this song, but couldn't remember the words so I looked it up, found yours, put some headphones in her ears and she was dancing around...so happy to hear it again! I told her how you recorded each part and played them together and she was amazed : ) Thank you for making her morning. We've enjoyed your talents very much!
This was my Mom and Dad's favorite song. He passed when I was 14, She went to be with him today. Thanks for the great music.
Sorry to hear that...
Cancernomore did he knock her up young?
@@everythingmitchmiller8949 wtf what a rude question to ask someone!! Why would you even ask someone that?
Another wonderful barbershop rendition of a classic song. Wish my Grandparents were still alive to enjoy some of their favorite music sung so beautifully!
Immaculate harmony as usual. First time I've heard more than the A section of this one.
This is the song that is responsible for getting me hooked on Barbershop music...watching a movie about the Osomond boys on TBS when I was young. Really glad I watched the show....but I would guess that people who ride in my car not so much....
Whenever I was a kid, this is the song my nanna used to always sing to me as a lullaby and hearing it like this brings back so many memories
YES! I couldn't remember where I knew this song from! WHAT A MOVIE! And what a rendition, I love trudbol, such versatility in one voice!
My grandparents used to sing that song! I love it ! Well done!
I'd just like to say to you: Thanks. It's really inspiring to see such quality work these days. You have, in fact, inspired me to start my own barbershop quartet at my high school; a lot of our song choice comes from your song choice, although often not the same arrangement. Once again, thank you for the inspiration! Keep doing great work.
I wish i could sing like you.
It's real amazing talent
Good for you julien. keep singing great
Wow...As soon as I heard this song, I started to tear up with nostalgia. I sang this song in a duet with a friend in one of my high school musicals. You've done an amazing job with this song! Thank you so much for singing this. I love watching all your videos. :)
I love older songs like these! This song is in a music box of mine and I love the song, you sing it so well!!!
This music brought me and a guy together. I will never stop sharing these videos :D
I'd love for this RUclips A Cappella adventure to really take off, so thanks for your kind words & support! :)

Brilliant rendition. Well done young man.
Always entertaining! Thanks!
That was beautiful. Loved it!!!
Love it. Amazing to hear the ringing chord in a couple of different places. :)
I just have to tell you that you are my 3 boys' favorite new "group." :D Fantastic job! My little 9yr old redhead is now trying to be you. :)
I got it in my sub feed Julian. Excellent production as always.
Amazing as always!
Wonderfully done!
WOW! Really cool! Liked it, loved it, shared it!

The best version of this song on all of RUclips
I've always loved this song and you did a great job as always. LIKED, FAVORITED AND SHARED!
Super et parfait comme toujours, merci bien Julien!
Flawless performance, as always. Great video. Thanks Julien!
Outstanding!!!!!
The B part of the song is where one can say = you are the guy ! Music to the n power ! Trés beau travail. Parfait !! Et pas d´accent. Délice d´écouter.
Salues du Brésil.
You are amazing man! And your voices blend so well hahaha. Keep these vids coming!
Julien, this song is so lovely :) I always remember the Osmond brothers singing this way back in the day on the Andy Williams show. They were just kids then, and it was sooooo cute. (I encourage all barbershoppers to search for and watch that video!) Thanks so much for giving us a Trudbol version for 2012 :)
Fabulous! =D These oldies remind me of pantomimes I was in about 10 years ago! ;)
You look very handsome, at the end of the songs, when you smile.
Wow, what a great voice! *claps*
Excellent!
Great performance by all. Roy
Very nice and good!
Thanks for your message, delighted my music could have this kind of influence. It's what it's all about isn't it? :)
Ok, I won't do it again.
It's a pleasure to watch your videos! :-)
Thank you! :)
AMAZING.
omg i really like this song and i love it when you sing this alone i like it way better with just you more entertaining since it seems harder lol good work i loved it
love it singing it at a school concert
Happy Birthday! :)
Wow! You deserve more views. I love this stuff!
I got an SATB arrangement from a friend and tweaked it to TTBB. I don't know who wrote it the SATB arrangement. The original song was written by Gus Kahn & Harry M. Woods in 1927.
Merci Emma ! ;)
I'm singing this song in chorus!
Thanks. :)
Excellent
Thanks! :)
Yes! Sooo nice.
Awesome!
Great job as usual. Since these take so much time, when do you have time to eat, sleep and work?
Thanks Nice Guy! :)
your sight reading must have improved greatly since you started doing these videos :) your last video of the Gerschwin arrangement was brilliant Julien!
Hi Julien,
Great music mate. I always enjoy listening to your tracks. Good to see the art kept alive.
Can you please record the song "river of no return".
Thanks.
Thanks! ;)
Terrific!
Thanks! Plenty more a cappella on my channel! :)
definitely one of my favorites by you, Julien! So that would be all of them! Haha :) Excellent job as always! :)
Another excellent job! I'd love to hear a French barbershop quartet song though :)
I didn't mean to imply it was fake..no, no... I was complementing you on how good it sounds... it's unreal.
Yes, I plan on singing this tune. :)
j'ai aimé avant de regarder x), toujours un plaisir de t'écouter^^
Wonderful. Whenever I hear this song, I think of Danny Aiello and Bruce Willis in "Hudson Hawk." Would you also consider recording "Swinging on a Star"?
Thanks! I don't know who wrote it, it's a transcription by ear from a recording. :)
Well it's good to know! Unfortunately, most of my subscribers don't do that, so the views are pretty low and the impulse isn't given. It's pretty frustrating, with all the time I spent making this video. :/
Thanks! Cheers :)
That was pretty! My Dad used to sing this song to me when I was a little twerp...
I love this!! Can you do 'Yes we have no Bananas' by The Mellomen with Thurl Ravenscroft?
It's funny considering Julien always makes these videos with 4 of him "Side By Side" ^_^
It didn't show up on my feed. I found out through your facebook post.
love this!! do you know when this was originally written? just researching some old classy songs and your videos seem to be the best resource so far :)
Don't worry, I usually check your channel anyway :). This time I was lucky!
Appropriate choice of song for a 1-man quartet. The most well-known rendition of this tune was recorded in 1953 by Kay Starr, who if memory serves sang it in a duet with herself.
This is wayyyy better sounding than my neighbor's lawnmower :)
Code accepted, vault is opening...❗😂😂😂👏👏👏💰💰💰
Lol i laughed when you sang sharing a load
Que delícia ouvir você ou seria melhor dizer, ouvir todos vocês!!! ;o )
...Mais uma vez, obrigado pelo som!!!
I'll do all I can to spread the word!
Thanks a lot! Pass it on to a friend! :)
You know what this remind me of something Donny Osmond brothers they sing that song so good a cappella group to
I love your old record sound! [I hope it's intentional] All you need is the occasional scratch from the record.
love it
je l'ai vu dans mes abonnements ;)
I didn't get this one. :( Thanks for mentioning it in your other one!
I got it on my subscriber feed.
Yes, as well as for all the songs performed on my channel. Please read the video description for my email.
Ah, I remember singing this when I was in elementary school
Thansk man :)
