The setting is such that it plays dotted eighth notes; it's kinda like playing half speed and having every other note be a repeat of the one before the last...paul gilbert's echo song also uses dotted eighths and he kinda explains how to do it on the youtube video, check it out

Your chouce of equipment is great and the Gibson Ripper bass you have in the background is wicked cool; I've always wanted one. And who cares what partyboy91065 says I think cutoffs/jeans shorts are cool that's all I wear when it's warm, ha! Good Work!!
