Yea I get what you’re saying. It definitely came down to those two plays, I just felt like nothing can beat a game winning catch in the championship. But based off skill alone, that was easily his best play.

yeah all of those highlights were awesome. Sewell does the superman and yeets a linebacker 3 yards back to open up a touchdown, Slater rides that LB/SS into the ground like a cowboy, VT takes 2/3 of utah's linebackers out of the play, and Leatherwood pushes that MLB a mile into the gulf of mexico
As an Alabama fan (I used to live there so no bandwagon): proud of my boys, a lot of em got picked, especially in the first round. Washington fan: Very good draft, love the Jamin Davis pick. We already have a top 5 D line in the league, so a LB helps a ton
The fact that fields had the confidence in his man and his arm to put it deep enough for the help to not come over and snag it it’s baller status. The fact that he did it and in such a tight pocket with people clamping down on him should scare a lot of defenses in the nfl. Especially when you add in the fact that if that man is double covered he’s tucking it and picking up 20 yards on the ground.

I would love to see a Jaylen Waddle and Eric Stokes footrace. Stokes is a legit 4.25 guy at 6'1" 205. He was a 3 star with almost no recruiting hype and the steal of the draft. Once he gets his footwork down, he will be a lockdown corner. Even now he has the speed to recover from most mistakes.
This was a sweet video, but in my opinion, the best Justin Fields play came in 2019 against Michigan... he took a brutal shot to his knee, a couple plays later he comes back onto the field with a knee brace on, he rolls to his left and throws a dot in the back corner of the endzone on his first play back on the field... but that play against Clemson is still amazing

As a Falcons fan I have no dog in the fight but I’ll never understand how Chase was picked before Smith. Chase’s best season had two more games while 3 of those games were against Ga Southern, Utah St, and Northwestern St. while having Justin Jefferson for the entire season yet DeVonta Smith played an all SEC schedule, 9 of 13 games without Waddle, and still had more TD’s/receiving yards. I guess his weight rlly was a factor along with maybe The Bengals wanting Chase to be with Burrow again. 🤷♂️
