- Probably one of the few redeeming factors of VomitroN 2 is the fact that it includes this rather nostalgic nod to the lovably macabre world of 80's vampiria.
Not to mention it features Anneke van Giersbergen (Devin Townsend, The Gathering, Ayreon) who was kind enough to donate her awesomeness to this rendition of Gerard's McMann's darkwave classic, featured in the 1987 film "The Lost Boys".

How does this not have more views/likes? Anneke Van Giersbergen is so talented.

I just stumbled on this after being highly disappointed with Mansons version. While I think this is better than his (since a lot of his sounds off key and weird to me personally), I think this version is way too high pitched and almost screechy, while you can hear the talent, I simply could not listen to this daily with that high of a pitch. The version I really liked was ruclips.net/video/nYbXFxta24c/видео.html the little girl in that video absolutely slays this song with a strong and powerful tone in her voice.

The struggle to find a cover that nails the essence of the original and still be awesome is a pain, but when tracks like this roll around it’s worth all the sweat and tears.
The moment the song and vocals open up to the “Thou Shall Not…” chorus is what made this rendition for me. There is a more haunting quality to this version. I mean, it’s Vomitron, so I already know it’s gonna be good.
