@@Mickeymouse7727 Burton just released new music, it's aimed at stirring shit with Fear Factory. Funny how Burton was quiet, now Milo is bringing new lease of life back into the band, all of a sudden Burton is releasing diss tracks. That goes to show you the state of how Fear Factory had been with Burton, as Dino always kept the door open for him - yet, Burton was always unreliable. Burton is washed up now, I lost all respect for him. Milo isn't a clone either, because he started out a bit different. There are plenty of interviews out there with Milo that tell his origin story and you would be surprised to hear the band's who influenced him, because he actually started out playing other instruments, vocals came last. I am glad you gave young Milo a chance.
I remember when Obsolete came out and was so damn excited. I will see them live for the first time this fall too. Too bad it's only Dino left from the original lineup.
As a music producer, to me, this album sets the bar for the highest quality sounding metal album I've ever heard. Aggression Continuum is great too, but this one is a wee bit more crisp.
I thought the same but there are some very slight pops where audio waves files are joined up without the proper care. The average person won't hear them but after spending about ten years joining them up I can hear them. There's some on the intro of the first track of the Mechanize album too.
@@JEKAZOL I know all about crossfades. I haven't noticed any missing on this album. I'll have to listen again through headphones, but still; the recording and mixing quality is top notch.
Saw FF in Cincinnati, OH in the mid 90s. Powerman 5000 and Static-X were the openers. To this day it's the most f'n amazing show I've ever seen (or felt!). Dino, still have your pick my man! Never stop being what y'all are... epic AF!
This album not only got me into fear factory, but also got me into heavy aggressive music in general and I still think this is fear factory’s best after listening to the whole discography. Their best album by a long shot Also crazy how this album inspired the DOOM soundtrack
Anodized is such a great song for warming up on drums. It's simple and just has that sweet spot tempo where you can play endlessly without getting tired.
My second favourite FF album behind Demanufacture. It's a 10/10 masterpiece and I could listen to this on loop, really nice heavy sections paired with soaring catchy choruses. Classic FF stuff and thr production is outstanding. This is why i cringe so hard when people say they went downhill after the 90's 🤦🤦🤦 This album got me into the band! Now I will be a die hard fan until I die! FEAR FACTORY RULES!!!
i rememeber the first time i saw these guys, Ozzfest 97 in Minnesota. I had never heard of them before that and the next day i bought Demanufacture, been a fan ever since
My first time listening to Fear Factory was back in a video game called Test Drive Offroad Madness 2 or something along those lines, been a while heh. Over the years since I've been on this wonderful ride with them and music in general but alas now in 2024 I am almost completely deaf in my left ear and low-mid dB deaf in my right. I very much miss the riffs and sounds of the instruments. I miss hearing and understanding the tone and lyrics of the singers. If anyone has a magical potion or a time machine please let me know?
Of all Fear Factory albums this album felt the most inspired by Blade Runner even beyond the soundbites. It felt lyrically linked in with the themes and story of the movie at points.
отличный альбом. спустя много лет я в рядах поклонников группы снова. отличный звук и вдохновляющая музыка. Я рад что группа наконец нашла хороший баланс между мелодичностью, грувом и брутальностью. Очень свежее восприятие материала.
I'm 43 years old and I've been listening to them since the beginning and I haven't been disappointed in them so far. But I'm sorry that they have a new singer, but it doesn't beat the original. Each of their albums is different, but always good.
Demanufacture is in my top ten albums. Haven't listened to anything after Obsolete.. This album has such a nostalgic feel to it. It's really good and to top it off the vocals are so close to Bells original vocals. Please come back to Australia
Fear factory is awesome. Yes, my honor society I have been invited to I will not drop or leave college or any university just because of the success that is coming. In the end I will graduate all the way because of my virtuoso.
It is so shocking to me that 2010 Mechanize and this album are so good. Obsolete is the only one that tops them for me. I never thought Fear Factory of all bands would be able to do anything interesting with their sound after Obsolete given how specialized they became, but I was wrong. I love this album so much.

Wow! Just amazes me how good Fear Factory still is, been a huge fan since the 1994 and still. Plus you guys got Tony Campos of static-x and I'm a huge fan of them too. Love Campos and especially FF 4 ever 🤘🤘🤘
