She absolutely gives me cold chills. I remember the moment I heard The Promise and I instantly fell in love with her and this band. They are absolutely amazing and I hope to one day see them in concert.
And to be honest, my favorite songs are Scarlet and 11:11. So heartfelt.
Saw them with Ozzy on Black Rain and Rob Zombie was an awesome show.

Comanche is personally my favorite track on this entire album. Maria is an amazing and powerful artist. Every time i listen to Comanche it sends chills down my spine.
I played a show with them before they got super famous. I remember I didn't know anything about them just that we were playing another show with a new band. I remember totally being blown away and thinking this chick is kick a!!!

I love absolutely everything about this entire album.
The first time I heard 11:11 it put me on the verge of tears. So much emotion was invested into this 50 min masterpiece.

"Rise With Me" is one of the most epic introductory tracks I have ever heard. It gives me goosebumps every time, and especially did so the first time I saw it performed live - easily one of the most memorable performances of the year for me.

Great album. I´ll usually enjoy HALF of the songs each CD brings us... but "Blood" is an exception. I think there are only 1 or 2 songs which are normal, but the others are all masterpieces.

Mau Menzori I really liked Blood, but I personally believe that Black Widow is an Oscar winner for Maria Brink and ITM.
Gerald McKee You mean the whole "Black Widow" album, or just that one track? To be really honest with you, I just enjoyed half of that one. Somehow she changed her voice on BW (a big example is Sex Metal Barbie) and that quite didn´t hit appeal to me. I hope she´ll go back to her original roots, on the next album. But BW has some magnificent tracks like "Big Bad Wolf, Dirty Pretty, Black Widow and The Fighter", though. This is a great band, that´s for sure. :)
Gerald McKee Besides. Two songs on BW are a complete waste of space (The Infection and Into the Darkness), in my opinion. So if you ask me which one is the best between Blood and Black Widow, I´ll take Blood anyday.
+Mau Menzori I didn't like BW that much either. I enjoyed a few songs like Sex Metal Barbie, Big Bad Wolf, Sexual Hallucination and Sick Like Me but the other songs... not that much. Blood and The Dream are the best ITM albums in my opinion.

Wow, I usually hate bands with female vocals coz they are boring as hell, but THIS is certainly hell of a voice and vocal technique + emotions! Love it!

I Need To Buy This Album But Preferably The Special Edition of the cd because it's longer than this version and comes with a special a bonus DVD The only downside to that being of course that i might need to look inside of a hot topic because that store smells weird and gives me the creeps but in the end it'll be worth it

This is my go-to album when I have had a rough day
ITM is unique in the "metal" genre. Her voice is a perfect mix of melodic and screamed lyrics. None better. Kick ass songs, hard hitting lyrics, and originality make this one of
the best bands in the business...period. Saw them at Toad's Place in Richmond Va. few
years ago when they opened for Rob Zombie. Incredible!!

No way is this heavy metal...this girl writes songs of pain. Heavy metal is a comic book and this band is like reading the Bible in comparison. I hate putting bands like this in boxes but if we have to so people can catch up then nu metal will suffice. That song Whore is amazingly well written. Huge respect for Maria Brink. Loved them since I first heard them, just something about girls as hot as this who are intelligent too, and can scream like Rob Halford. What's not to love?

i feel like slam tries so hard to be the heaviest thing possible, that it becomes LESS heavy.
