Definitely will. You’re talented. My new favorite paranormal guy.
@@justinlewis8638 Thank you!
You should make a video covering the legend of Reino Mágico (Magic Kingdom). It's a haunted amusement park located in Veracruz, Mexico.
@@MiguelGarcia-uf9ll Oo never heard of this one!
@@MiguelGarcia-uf9ll oh it's abandoned? You suggesting this today might have been fate. Might be able to include this in the very next video I'm working on. Thank you!
I am SO happy that my country gets more attention in the paranormal/history sphere of youtube. Czech republic has so much cool legends and mystical places that are worthy of talking about!
Oh yeah came across loads of little bits of folklore as i was learning about this. I'm sure we'll feature your country again in the future!
@@TheTapeLibrary That´s amazing! As a history student with passion for paranormal and folklore, I feel like Czechia isn´t getting much attention from youtube creators like other Slavic countries (for example Russia,or Poland) and its really nice to see somebody as meticulous as you giving my country some well deserved attention.
@@barborabazalkova5535 Thank you!
I miss when it was Czechoslovakia.
@@ProleCenter I feel like a lot of (especially older) people do... But it wasn´t all sunshine and roses
I'm glad to hear more European content. There's so many stories and legends that are not given the attention they deserves.
I have a video suggestion, it's on the _Hoia Baciu Forest_ in Transylvania. There are tons of strange stories and sightings surrounding the forest and it's odd shaped trees. I know I'd love to see what kind of strange and creepy accounts you could dig up.
Great video as always! 👍👍
This one gets suggested quite a bit so I'm sure I'll get to it at some point
Agreed! I have an acquaintance who happened to spend an afternoon there about a year ago, and he said he literally shit his pants that day. Out of the blue he heard a "loud" whisper calling his name, and when they were deeper into the forest there was this smell of sulfur. Also he noticed his heartbeat was irregular the whole time, something he never experienced before (he's healthy). I don't think people talk enough about that place, something seriously wrong happened there that brought on the region this low vibration/evil energy. Great video!!!
And of course carpathian forest romania@@TheTapeLibrary
Yes, that would be amazing@@mk-ur4cq
Sounds like Poisonous Gas of some kind was in that hole.
I don't understand why nobody has stopped and said, "Hey, why don't we dig up the hole under the chapel and explore it with modern technology?" Drives me crazy.
yeah i really like the legends, but what about TODAY? surely somebody must have tried to reach the bottom? i have to know about that, otherwise i feel treated like a child. analogous for being unable to see the forest for the trees, here i can't enjoy the mystery for these oversized question marks. i've heard about houska before and had that problem before.
Because its a cash cow. Making it "scary" attracts uneducated tourists.
Bc that’ll dispel the myth that there’s nothing there, just a big empty hole.
The very worst is that it was a plague pit, or something where they disposed of diseased animals and people.
Just maybe there’s the remote possibility that they put deformed people and animals down there, and the mentally disabled. Thinking they were diseased, or possessed by the devil.
Where they bred with each other, producing ever increasingly malformed offspring. Perhaps they even bred with the animals and bc there’s rare chemicals, gases and radioactive rocks down there, they produced something beyond horrifying.
There could be endless tunnels and caverns down there.
Have you seen the film The Cave 2005? It’s about such a thing, great film btw.

houska castle is my absolute favorite creepy thing/place/story (along with the legend of the hoop snake), so excited to watch this!!!
Hope I do it justice!
There's a horror novel by F. Paul Wilson, titled _The keep,_ that was adapted into a movie in 1983 by Michael Mann. The setting is a place eerily similar to this. I wonder if this was the inspiration for it.
I think it's time to watch The Keep again.
@@timhouston4470 or read the novel.
I read somewhere this was the inspiration but no idea if that's true
I read The Keep back in high school, not long after the movie came out, which I've never seen. I had heard this castle and the legends were part of the inspiration. It's easy to see why.
I've often wondered that, myself.
Castles are marvelous buildings, not just a shelter, an architectural statement with tall walls and high ceilings giving loads of space!
Well, this is going to be a 'hole' lot of fun! Thank you, Tape Library! 🎉
Will be avoiding any spooky hole videos for a while!
@@TheTapeLibrary 😆🎃😆
@@TheTapeLibrary One thing highly notable to me... is just how much of this story feels divorced from the reality. It's like a creepy pasta... that mentions a real place... but doesn't know anythign about it.
Thank you! Excellent as always!😊❤
Oh wow thank you so much! Really appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed it :)
@@TheTapeLibrary You are awesome! Thank you! 😊💖
I’m so glad you decided to do some content on old dwellings like castles. I have always been terrible drawn & fascinated by such types of dwellings b/c they exude such aged & literally drenched w/history & events that the younger dwellings just don’t hold.
If you like stories about castles I would like to suggest a book, "Living with Ghosts" by Prince Michael of Greece! Very interesting stories! One particular one took place in Poland about a treasure that was supposed to be buried there! When communicating with the ghost she informed Prince Michael that yes there was a treasure, but not gold and gems! A secret that went back to the Knights Templar! Patricia Gambino Harrington
@@Frank-pk6oi Thank you for the suggestion I’ll be sure to look that up. You’ve peaked my curiosity.
gotta say you have some of the best jumpscare edits i have seen, it's not just some scary face screaming at you but rather your edits contribute to that feeling of dread is just enough to keep you on your toes without breaking immersion.
Appreciate that! I try not to really do too many jump scares as it feels a bit cheap sometimes, but on occasion I'll do something a bit 'jump scare esq' if it feels right for the story. (Or for that one subscriber bit I did with the clown before, that I seemingly traumatised a few people with).
Thank you for the story...can you make a video about Petrovaradin fortres in Serbia?
I'll certainly look into it! If theres enough of a story there for me to dig into then i likely will :)
12:48 Left handedness was deemed as evil - the word 'sinister' comes from the word 'sinistre' or left handed
Finally a place I've actually been! It's such an atmospheric & mysterious place, well worth a visit 😊
Oh awesome! I'd love to visit some time
This is not only an incredible ghost story but would also be the perfect setup for a gritty D&D campaign.
Regarding "left handedness", in magic left hand path is the path of evil if I'm not mistaking. Meaning, that magic can be used for good, as well as for evil. There's for example a song made by the Symphonic Deathcore band Mental Cruelty called "Left hand path" that made me curious and looked it up, and that's how I found out about it.
Excerpt from Wiki: This terminology is used by various groups involved in the occult and ceremonial magic. In some definitions, the left-hand path is equated with malicious black magic, while the right-hand path is equated with benevolent white magic.
From my (admittedly limited) understanding, the left hand path isn't necessarily evil. Its more focused on aiding the practitioner rather than the right hand path which is more focused on helping others and generally being benevolent. So not strictly evil, but more likely to be used for bad reasons due to the potential focus on personal gain.
@@TheTapeLibrary Thanks for your input, Wikipedia is by no means a reliable source of information, but I read the same at some forum thread so I was content it was right. But of course there can possibly differ a bit, also since people could have different beliefs of what is or isn't evil, benevolent or selfish.
Now when I have your attention, I'd like to thank you for all the great stories on your channel, I hadn't heard about this one before.
Writing this just made me think about a story of a rune stone in Björketorp, Sweden that is damned. I first heard about it from the channel The Cryptic Chronicles Archive. You can find it there and it's only 6 min. I'd love to hear it if you can find out more about it.
@@sykoteddy Oh yeah, I'm not saying you're wrong as such. i think it often is used as a reference to 'evil' magical practices, but it just doesn't have to always mean that is all.
Thank you so much for the kind words, I will check out that video! Always interested in covering more European folklore, some of the favourite stuff to get into.

The headless horse reminds me of the "Mula sem cabeça", a creature from Brazilian folklore (it might have come from Europe since it relates to Catholicism and not our natives beliefs). I used to have nightmares about it when I was a kid hahahahhahahaahaha Great video!!!
Thanks!
Headless horse sounds scary!
@@johngordon4138 it is actually a headless mule in the folklore, I researched it afterwards hahahahah In the place where the head should be, instead of blood, it has flames coming out of the wound.

We don't have old mediaeval castles in Australia. Unfortunately. Lots of other strange things, just no old mediaeval castles.
I've seen the spiders you guys get, would rather face the pit to hell
The big harmless ones we keep as pets, and feed them cockroaches.
Paranormal researcher of 35 years appreciates the detail in this report, thanks.😮
It would be cool to see a part 2 that's the actual history of the castle
I’ve never heard about this one before. Quite the interesting!! Thank you for bringing it to life!
You, sir, just made my terrible week worth getting through!! ❤☠️

Very VERY interesting lore. I've never heard of this. Thank you for such amazing work!! 🙏👏👏👏👏
I saw a episode of Ghost Hunters international where they investigated the castle. They had a lot of paranormal experiences
I watched it while writing this
They sure did!
Your right Himmler was by far the most Occult obsessed . Hence the runic symbols on uniforms and weapons .
Its interesting but occult symbolism is still alive and well today in the West, however its far less obvious. For example, some of Washington DC's and Paris' main streets are laid out in a pentagram shape. Capitol Hill and its grounds (when viewed from above) take the shape of an owl; this US secret symbolism is also reinforced by a tiny owl hidden in the US dollar bill. Many of NASA's spacecraft are named after Egyptian gods. All of this shows that occult symbolism is still alive and in use today by the shadowy powers that be.
@@muppetb.lansing8374 Not so subtle lately. The eye/pyramid symbols are everywhere in the media and advertising, not to mention the 6s. The forces of evil have never been stronger.
@@muppetb.lansing8374That’s true to some extent but the pentagram also represents many different things - for instance it can also mean the wounds of Christ .
This isn’t usually my cup of tea as a subject, but I found the whole thing more interesting that I thought it would be and more compelling thanks to the narrator.
Glad you enjoyed it!

It looks like they run quite a few ghost tours and events if you do ever find yourself over that way

I love learning about history. Especially paranormal history. I'd love to go see the Czech Republic for a while to experience the people and culture myself. If I knew someone there, I'd move for a few months or longer, since I don't need to work unless I want to or have a reason to. I don't know much about them and would love to know more. Maybe I'll start planning a short trip. But I'd love to check this area out.
you can actually visit the castle if you want to, I think theres ghost tours too
That would be so fun
Fantastic telling, well done. Lots to cover with this one but you captured the essence of the history. Loved it can't wait for what comes next.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I'm not quite sure what to make of the hole under the castle, but you made mention of the design of the castle being a cube within a cube, within a cube; which is (supposedly) what a tesseract is. This is, of course, a bit of intriguing speculation, but tesseracts are supposed to be able to facilitate some sort of time travel, if you're into quantum physics. (I'm not very well versed in such things.) But it would explain the time slips in some fashion. Still, very interesting stories.
This is definitely one of my favorite videos you've made!! I love history, especially history like this. Really makes you wonder..
