No way when I tell myself "alright stop with the bold pieces and logos, we gon get lowkey stuff and focus on layering / color palettes" and it's actually a trend 😭 I'm a sheep
Trends are cyclical. Everything that’s being worn has been worn. It’s not really sheeplike it’s actually just waiting for things to come around your way.
Don't worry, plenty of lowkey stuff that will make you look unique
you don't have to be special im kinda done with people being mad cuz I like dressing a specific way I don't care anymore if im a sheep more anything more power to any express yourself however you want
So glad I dont follow trends but its interesting to keep abreast to whats going on.Yohji and vintage Kenzo all day...🙏🏽
To me, a trend that will become a staple is the techwear/gorpcore. Weather is getting harsher and harsher, we will have more typhoons, windy and rainy days - and no Balenciaga or Gucci can handle this. For a crappy weather, we need all the Goretex, Vibrams and Cordura stuff.
I’m on my way to the military surplus store!
As a tailor I think there will be more people trying to make clothing themselves people are more imaginative and fed up with hype and fast fashion's and would like to own unique tailored pieces.
I love this take
Dunks losing hype is fantastic because I'll be able to get pairs more easily, they work for me and it's been too much of a pain in the ass to get. I'm also so happy work wear/americana with the idea of classic denim styles, became a thing. It makes it easier for me to dress comfortably
Thanks for these videos you my favorite fashion RUclipsr!!! Been watching for years.. Much love from south dakota lol
Gorpcore means germans are finally in trend
This year I have decided I want to change my style or atleast try to improve it since I have been focused on school bit too much for past year or so. The style that appealed to me the most was workwear, skater style, those comfy layed back outfits that wont break the bank and would last a good time.
good video!!
I think the evolution of the dad shoe to mesh 2000's runners was pretty apparent. I'm here for it, and I think finally the term "dad shoe" kind of doesn't mean anything anymore.
@thecasual what brand hoodie is that, that you're wearing it looks so fire 🔥🔥🔥
DIGITAL FASHION by Mark Zuckerberg 😂😂
Hey Reggie, I'd love to learn about more popular Japanese accessory brands! Thinking of bags, specifically, but open to everything. :)
RIP streetwear, long live streetwear!
I don’t think streetwear will ever truly die, it will continue to live on through many modern takes of it as it becomes more and more futurist, minimalistic, sporty or what have you
See you in 3 years
I cannot predict what will be popular, but as someone who sews, I think there is no reason superb design cannot be also supremely comfortable (as in comfortable enough to sleep in). Between a universe of different knits and an ocean of cotton/linen gauze, silk charmeuse and twill woven wool flannel, there is more than enough to create exquisite garments
There is a way to predict! If you attend the Functional Fabric Fair there is a few industry panels that set the tone for what will be offered in the world’s textiles market. Highly recommend it.
The problem with those fabrics you mentioned is that the higher grade is the most comfortable and higher grade is more expensive. Most don’t care enough to consider your options. Take it from someone who studies fabrics just as much as you do. It’s upsetting but we have to teach people fabrics all the time because most don’t care enough to learn about them.
@@THECASUALco you are very kind to reply, thank you for your insightful comment.and I am sure you have studied fabric waaaaaaaaaay more than I have.
@@justforfunvideohobby would love to but I work and it is not in my budget.
Nice video... but hey, where that hoodie from?
Reggie, I can't get over your lint/cat hair-free black hoodie. Like how sway!
Thanks for the video . One small disagreement : I still can’t cop any sb dunk low at retail , so I guess it is not totally dead unfortunately…
Where can I find that hoodie?????
Go to the basketball courts in the US, all of the kids wear crocks or slides to the courts and change into their fancy kicks at the courts. God forbid they touch the street.
Song during the intro ?
GG, Btw its "Dreez" Van Noten not "Dry-s"
My boy 🔥
Ford hat timeless staple 🤝 🧢
Dude we miss your videos when you are out on the streets of Japan
I was out!!😅 I can’t film something every weekend. I have other life stuff to do
what brand is shown at 5:23? I find it so beautiful, straight out some post-apocaliptic/ sci-fi movie
Pretty sure it's Fear of God bro
@@nasigorengtelordua lol thanks I was stuck in my head with "Fear of god = their essentials line" 😅
Nice outerwear is never gonna leave. Gorpcore forever.
So happy to see the skinny fit trend finally die off!
😮💨
Good the kiddos don’t want dunks, I’ll be here buying them
I feel like the fashion we follow has 3 eras 80s 90s n early 2000s n we are more leaning 2000s
I'm still waiting for the dunks to hit their saturation peak here in Singapore. Take a walk around town on any given day and every millenial/gen z is wearing the pandas.
That sounds like the saturation point to me
That’s just an Asian thing. Same thing happening in Shanghai 😂
@@chroma-agogo tell this to those still buying them from SNKDUNK 😅
Im not upset about that in sg haha makes me feel more unique when I wear my react 87s or new balances
Yeezys and sock-shoes in general: out.
brands that been dead and are extremely played out (for years now): Supreme, Bape and Jordan
what do you mean tailoring
Suits
glad the maximalism thing is dying bc maximalism will stand out even more now and u can see who genuinely sticks with it
I taught Balenciaga was canceled in 2023
so glad NFTs are dead in the water and 'Metaverse' is well on its way too
W
The maximalism trend can die!!! Harajuku fashion did it better
8:15-8:34 will age like spoiled milk in the next decade
Every prediction would be inadequate in a decade bruh! Like what?!😅 Literally says “2022” in the title
Yuck. Lol. PASS! NEXT!
Dunks are dead to me now
Damn those nft comments gonna age poorly lol
Eventually. But for now it’s a no. That’s why I said “the rollout was poor” and “there is merit to the tech”. I try to cover my bases to stave off future embarrassment😅
