Very nice review Javier!! Those lights look and light up great bro they really changed the light game in cordless tools with these. I really like the lantern and especially the stick light for workin on the car at night. Thanks Javier!
great review Javier, saw these the other day on Eric and Dans channel, love the M18 lantern, that option to turn the emitters to a 360º configuration is an awesome feature! I also like the M12 stick light for its compactness, would be useful to keep in the glovebox of a vehicle. Love the in depth information of your videos, keep up the great work Javier and have a good weekend!
TheBearuk1 thanks bro. I really like all these lights too and ofcourse you know I got a thing for the smaller 12v tools so ofcourse I really like the m12 lantern because of the size and also because of the charger
I have the 2 flood lights...love them...even the lowest power setting will create enough light to see your way around a room....which if perfect for long power outages...which we got to experience during Super Storm Sandy...which I wish I had..we were forced to use a propane lantern during this time...oh well..I'm prepared now!
buzzj89 thanks buzz. Yeah the m18 lights are awesome and I liked TIA's video on the lights. Those guys crack me up like the part where they made a big fuss about not removing the sticker before use
regopit44 thanks Carroll, I like Milwaukee's lights from the led flashlight to these new ones. Very high quality and plenty of features like the hooks and quality leds
Great video as always. After you speak about the issues with the m12 stick light, you say in the video, that those are the features they improve upon with the m12 stick light, and then you are showing a m18. You still speak after that as if it is a m12 light, but it is really a m18. I was hoping they did make a m12 with those improvements.
Makita also just released a brushless 5" angle grinder in Australia model (DGA504Z) and makita also just released a brushless compact circular saw with a 125mm blade model (Hs471) in Australia. Check them out on google images.
Cody Robertson yeah I think I've seen that makita light and also Bosch just came out with one also. And that 5" grinder looks great. I think I've seen the brushless circular saw you're talking about if it's a 6-1/2 model- lots of great stuff
ToolCrazy nope i have see the brushless 6' 1/2" on Toolguyd about a month ago but this one has about a 5" 3/8 blade extra compact about the size of the new Milwaukee fuel m12 circular saw. But a 18 volt version. Check it out makita (HS471)
Cody Robertson I've checked out all of the U S tool sites and nobody has mentioned anything about the new Makita (HS471) compact brushless circular saw. It's the same size as the new hitachi brushless circular saw. Both those tools where made just for cutting plywood but can can also cut a 2×4 if needed. The hitachi and the makita circular saw both weight in about 5.5LBS with 3.0ah battery.
The light flickering on camera is an important aspect of LED quality when it comes to dimming. High quality led lights made for video doesn't suffer from it.
Wow it's been so long since I did this review that I forgot what the one that's not a lantern is called. That one would be better for when working in a car as seen in the video. But better yet is this one here: toolcraze.net/milwaukee-m12-led-underhood-light/
Ha ha ha ha ToolCrazy "...this pathetic excuse of a flashlight." you are AWESOME! By the way much thanks for the posting on the m18 sticklight as I was researching it before a purchase. Props for the musical intro.
Javier hitachi also has two new LED lights one is a LED work lamp model (UB18DGL) and the other is a LED torch model (UB18DJL). And Hitachi just released a new brushless compact circular saw model (C18DBL) with a 125mm blade in Australia. It can cut 500 cuts of 2×4's on 3.0ah battery. Check them all out on google images and there is a video of that brushless circular saw on Whattraddieswant on RUclips.
Cody Robertson I didn't know but I'll have to check out the site your talking about. Wow 500 cuts on 2x4 that's a tremendous amount of cuts. Even hard to believe but awesome if true especially considering only a 3.0 battery. Crazy how fast tool tech is progressing lately.
ToolCrazy just checked again on Hitachi au site it is 500 cuts but it was on a 5.0ah battery. Do you have a email address I'll send the the pictures, videos and info about those tools.
These lamps are not the same as 'old school' lamps! These LED's are likely to be between 4-5000k. old school incandescent lamps usually burn around 2700k, making them have a warmer yellow tone in their spectrum. Good video btw 😉
i just bought the M12 latern. To bulky and fat for my plumbing grip. I have a Makita stick light that is more portable for my carpentry grip. I am going to return it for the stick Milwaukee , to keep my plumbing grip more portable and the batteries match my other plumbing tools,
Thanks for your videos Xavier. because of your videos I bought last year M18 Fuel impact driver and drill kit from USA. Now I purchased from usa a M18 stick light. Milwakee should send you some free gear as a Thank you. Let me know if they send you a hood top or the shirt. cheers.
Great video with controlled iso on camera gives me consistent views with the difference of lights. Your quick and to the point excellent video.
Richard Niederle thanks Richard, glad it helped
Very nice review Javier!! Those lights look and light up great bro they really changed the light game in cordless tools with these. I really like the lantern and especially the stick light for workin on the car at night. Thanks Javier!

Arfin K thanks! glad you liked it
Great review, way better then Tia Milwaukee light review. I really want the m18 lights thanks for helping m decide.

That M12 lantern is calling my name.
regopit44 thanks Carroll, I like Milwaukee's lights from the led flashlight to these new ones. Very high quality and plenty of features like the hooks and quality leds

Alex Augusta thanks Alex. I thought your picture looked familiar
Ya there arent so many around with this one 😄
Alex Augusta I had a feeling you were madman from the forum- cool
Javier makita makes a decent LED light model (LXLM03) kinda resembles the Milwaukee 18 volt stick light.
Makita also just released a brushless 5" angle grinder in Australia model (DGA504Z) and makita also just released a brushless compact circular saw with a 125mm blade model (Hs471) in Australia. Check them out on google images.
Cody Robertson or on Makita au. Com

What would better for working on a car, Stick light or Lantern?
Wow it's been so long since I did this review that I forgot what the one that's not a lantern is called. That one would be better for when working in a car as seen in the video. But better yet is this one here: toolcraze.net/milwaukee-m12-led-underhood-light/
How much?
Great video man!!!
Vince Moir thanks Vince

ToolCrazy video of the new compact hitachi circular saw on RUclips at (WTWMag) made about a week ago. Check it out you'll be impressed
ToolCrazy just checked again on Hitachi au site it is 500 cuts but it was on a 5.0ah battery. Do you have a email address I'll send the the pictures, videos and info about those tools.
The m12 lantern is nice as an auxiliary light but for really dark areas 400 lumens is limit.

+mokotramp thanks man. I meant old school as in they're not newer tech like LED's.

The spotlight has done its job for decades... it's called a spotlight for a reason... it's not a flood light
ok
