When I was a child living in LA County the Sales Tax was only 5%, yes 5%, half of now. ~ The fact is, Sales Taxes are the most Regressive Tax as they hit the Middle Class and Poor much harder. Wealthy people hardly notice sales taxes, they almost have money to burn, I don't. I voted yes for the 1/4% for homeless tax a few years ago, but I voted NO on Measure A. I scrimp every penny, nickel, and dime just to try to get by on my very small pension. Inflation is killing me. How about an Excise Tax on people making more than $300,000 in LA County? They could afford it, I can't. It seems every time you turn around, they propose adding to the LA County Sales Tax. These interns are wrong, the LA County Sales Tax is already over 9 1/2%

More miss usage of our tax dollars, how about we reverse and not give to the homeless so they have to work like the rest of us. If you love homeless take one home.
