I've got about 25-30 of them that all have to be removed & replaced! They must of used the cheapest soft wood available. I have both dog house & children play house that I've built with scrap wood, never been painted, and the wood hasn't rotted, But these Monarch Windows, have been caulked & painted a few times , despite that, they are all completely rotten, the Window panes are falling out, the frames are rotted away, It a total mess! Likely due to continued leaks, caused other damage yet to be disclosed!
I have to completely rebuild my rough opening because of termite damage so I'll be sure the replacement fits. 24 x 60" and 36 x 60"
Where are the bricks??
Can you remove the window shims after the foam is dry?
Do not remove the shims, they stay on. Score with a knife and snap off any excess.
