What’s up TOM i love watching your videos you always keep me on my toes about small engine shenanigans lol😂 this is Kawoun your favorite fan I like all your videos
Awsome video Tom. I like the extra steps and care you take when working on your customers equipment. That is why they keep coming back and recommending you to others. I do the same, like it my equipment. Have a good weekend my friend.
My Friend good video. I would suspect the customer added way too much oil. All new 2 cycle equipment require a 50-1 mix. I run a 40-1 in all my 2 cycles equipment . All are 20 + years old. Years ago I bought my first weed trimmer a 1976 MacCulloch eager beaver trimmer which I still have. I no longer use and now just a dust collector, but it does still runs.
Let me guess before I watch your video, the exhaust is stopped up & needs cleaning, I had a chainsaw with the same symptoms a few days ago & that was my problem. ( I am not a small engine mechanic, just an old farmboy). Have a great day.
I use 40-1 but keep an eye on the spark arrester. I use 89 or higher octane with Stihl Ultra. Our fuel here has 10% ethanol in it, but it still seems to work OK

@@KensSmallEngineRepair exactly what I use too!
@@TomDobyMowerRepair Tom , I thought you ran 50:1 Stihl oil with regular 87 octane 10% ethanol gas.
