Just a short video to explain oo how to wire all the wiring on the nightmare edition train horns from horn blasters. My recommendations and what to do and what not to do!
I have a similar setup with no drain switch. My pressure switch only has two prongs not 4 wires. I want to use a switch for the compressor and a switch to activate the horns. I assume I’ll use a relay as I am not 100% sure if I need to or not but want to be cautious. Can you give me an idea on how to properly wire my setup?
The pressure gauge you have on the inside with the dual fitting did you set it there yourself they told me to put it on the other side by itself I have photos if you need them
Great Video just wanted to make sure the the Compressor Can go right to the Battery and the Blue wire on the pressure switch will actually turn the Compressor on?
@@PowercallSirens Can i t-tap the blue wire to the red compressor power wire? This way i can wire one single (red 10awg) wire from my aux switch (50 amp) and will power both red and blue wires when i want
Which wire did you use for the dead mans switch? I have the drain kit as well and would like to be able to turn off and on my own compressor without just the switch power turning it on. Thank you in advance
Question? You spoke of gravity with the relief valve so u can drain any water build up in your other video. My question is, is if you need your relief valve on the bottom of your tank, then why did you put your electric release almost higher than the tank?
Because the hot wire going to your pressure switch was hot and your white wire hooked up to your compressor hot wire had no power coming from it at all, means is your switch is bad and sucks and that's what I experienced when I hooked everything when I hooked up a brand new pressure switch to my brand new kit from hornblasters! So you need to ask on the phone before even ordering the stock system from hornblasters to give you an aftermarket pressure switch(viair) before you order the kit from hornblasters.com because their pressure switch leaves their factory already failed!
I didnt expect anything less...great job
Watched both videos can't remember if you added the air hose fitting. Can you tell me if you did.

That is correct, just make sure you fuse your compressor wire.

Good video it's going to help me install my horn
Glad I could help, send me a video when you're done!
thanks for the info. where did you tap into for accessory power? and did you use any relays?
No mention of relays to operate the solenoids? I must have missed something.
Thank you so much really helped out

I Bought suncoo air horn and i have 8 gang switch panel I would you hook up the press of switch and the compressor
Do you have a picture diagram if your wiring schematics? Including going into switch and if you're running another separate on/off switch as well??

He will drain it with pressure in the tank so it won’t matter that it’s not below the tank.
Thanks
Did you experience the pressure switch fail before you even fired the horns?
Jesse Ochoa nope never had that issue
Where did u tap into keyed power? I'm having trouble on my 19 gmc
Try the fuse block on the left of the drivers dash, there were plenty of switch blanks there you can use.
Need more video on mounting to truck
Is it me or does this guy sound Joe Rogan?

You could also do a good tape job over those connector pins if someone doesn’t want to cut and solder. Should work just as good to keep elements out
Heat shrink is awesome. Tape everywhere is 🤮
Can I call you????
