Chris, I like that you are doing like 4 to 5 things at once with the 330 bucket. Clearing, raking, getting close to grade with the depth you are dragging back. Makes grading and shaping easier a few steps later after trees are clear. Well done Sir!!! Work smarter and always helping yourself on the next step… Masterful!!!!!!
Yes sir, never if you experience a breakdown, it’s when, like you say, “it happens”, one needs to get the machine repaired and get back to business. Look forward to the burn off from these piles. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching, BTW, thanks for the tip on the hydraulic pressure release.
A short but interesting Sunday afternoon episode of Chris cleaning those old roads is definitely a good way to spend some time with my fellow subscribers.
Little sticks can ruin your day in a heartbeat. When I had my Komatsu excavator I had a small stick go through the vents in the door a poke a hole in the radiator. 🤬🤬
The sign of a true professional is knowing what to do when things are not going right. IE knowing how to get a broken line to stop dumping hydraulic fluid.
I love watching you grab these trees like they're little twigs, snapping in pieces like nothing is there! Man I love these machines so much, just like playing with real big toys(especially with that screen on the 350)! Chris, you have the best job('playin' in these things) and make it all so easy & smooth. It always nice to see the burn pile go up, and you're right, with enough accelerants anything will burn! 🔥💯👍🏻👌🏻🚒🚧🚜🏗️🦺🛠️🔧🔗 ✊🏻🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸✊🏻

No way around it, that 350 is one bad mutha. Talking bout getting the job done. Pond in the future, I enjoy the dirt moving watching the pond take shape. Backup parts are a must for a busy man like you.
The camera makes the grapple rake look about half its real size, I wouldn’t have guessed it is 6 feet wide! Maybe it’s also because you make it look so easy to use. 👍👍
Nothing like a 'little' thing to halt work - visit to town and fixed - that's business. The grapple is handy in many instances - good purchase. Sub-development was large to just leave and walk away it seems - big money for sure.
It was probably planned around ‘08 when the economy collapsed and they couldn’t finish the project. Then who knows maybe they went bankrupt or just sat on it till they could sell and make some of their money back.
Hi Chris and everyone from northwest Missouri I totally understand why you didn't want a hydraulic thumb 👍🏻 on the 350 after you got that behemoth graffle bucket you got for it Bud 😉😉
Taking and putting new ends on that is better since your new machine and the hose is not very old. I used to deal with hydraulic hoses on the equipment i ysed to maintain and repair in the oilfield.
Do you get your hoses at Brakes Inc ....they are just outside the Beltline on New Bern Ave I think. They were always really good about keeping fittings in stock. Old man named Junior used to work there could make anything you needed and he was super quick. That was a good many years ago. He's probably long gone. Maybe he trained a pup.
Ya know Chris, Have you ever done clearings that may have "Historical" backgrounds? I'm thinking like Civil War backgrounds. Land of some long forgotten battles or minor skirmishes or encampments of both the North and South? Please don't hate me for saying. But you do dig deep sometimes.
For as many times as Chris has ripped hoses off, I'm surprised he doesn't keep an extra full set with him for his machines. Save alot of run around time when the weather's still good.
You need to get you an electric bike sponsor, that way you don’t have to walk back-and-forth from the machine to the truck. Keep it on the machine somehow that way to cut down on all that walking.
@@andrewfaircloth1074 Yeah, but he keeps damaging the same ones, right down the end by the bucket. Keep one or two spare hoses behind the seat, and that'll pay off eventually. Or sod's law will apply and he'll never break another one until just after he takes the spare out.
Just imagine if you blew that hose in a big city. They would have the hazardrus goods team out to investigate and the police would shut down the jobsite until Workman's Compensation Board completes their investigation. 50 years ago I used to dump all my dirty oil from oil changes on my 2 vehicles along my fence line with my idiot neighbour. He didn't believe in cutting grass in his back yard but would instead burn it. After I saw the smoke ans back yard on fire, I stopped dumping oil along my fence.
The sheer scale of these machines is both intimidating and awe-inspiring.
The swamp drain was one of my favorite videos. After you ditched it,the water drained out. Now you get to polish it.
What is it about drainage ditching that’s so dang satisfying?

Amazing to think how wet this place was when you were digging those drain ditches! And how it looks now!

Lucky there was a hose place not far away bro and having a spare makes good sense too. Another great video on this project as well. Safe travels. Ken.

I thought of the old raid commercial while watching. The little trees see sunlight for the first. Sunlight, aaahhh, Letsdig18. Whack!
Yup, I feel you Chris, raking and stacking brush for a good woodpile can get emotionally challenging.
It’s always something when you are running equipment. But not much of down time is a good thing
That’s pretty impressive to get a new hose so quick.
Awesome and outstanding content as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
The 350 is a monster, but the 220 is a brute.

That's nice! Makes it lots easier! Times money! 😊❤
I called it! I made a comment on one of your other videos that those long hoses for that grapple would get snagged.😁
The problem was not a long hose, but a branch breaking the hose. :)
Too bad it wasn't on the grapple, but the 220 bucket. Oh well, you had a 50% chance of getting it right.
I didn't know you had gnats in your neck of the woods. I thought we had all of them in South Ga.😂 Love your videos btw!

Chris, you can get "firesleve" covers for your hose if you want extra protection. Also Aeroquip teflon 666 hose has integral firesleve.
