  • So finally we visited Herat, the most modern and vibrant city in Afghanistan. The literacy rate in this city is very high in comparison to other cities of Afghanistan. The education of Women is restricted in Afghanistan, they are allowed to go to school up till 6th grade only. But in this City I witnessed most of the girls who looked more than 16 years old with the school bags. Also Taliban influence is least to be seen in this city. Overall Women are seen a lot on the streets but are still very shy and we tried not to capture them.
    People of Herat were less friendly if you compare it will other cities we visited and also they try to get money out of your pockets. I can't share the details of the experiences happened with us because I don't want to specify a certain group of people. But overall the city is beautiful and the food is good as well.

    Thank you Rohit Bhai, people in Afghanistan are good and respect foreigners, especially Indians are very welcome by Afghans, problem is in politicians. I live in the US, but happy that I can see something positive.
    Hope you have happy days in Afghanistan.

    Herat is the business center of Afghanistan, that's why people are smarter than the rest of Afghanistan. they meet different people from different countries that's why know everyone is not good.

      Lying, cheating with tourists is not smartness,… we got so much love from people of Kabul Kandahar Jalalabad Kunduz and even Bamyan but Herat were different.. but with due respect not all were like that but some of them.. we were supposed to stay there for 3-4 days but we had bad experiences so we left in 2 days

      @@rohitbhalla97 yeah, I'm sorry for that; when I said smart I meant trying to be clever, but people of other cities mostly think from heart.

      Due to the fact that the Taliban needs the recognition of their government by the countries of the world, they try to behave very well with foreign tourists and show a beautiful image of themselves and their government to foreign tourists, especially those who are RUclipsrs and streamers. They record their journey and show it, but the behavior of the Taliban towards the people of Afghanistan, especially the non-Pashtun ethnic groups of Afghanistan, is very brutal, discriminatory and inhumane, especially with the Hazara ethnic group, who are religiously different from the Taliban and follow the Shia religion, and there are many atrocities and crimes. They do it every week but every day in front of them, which are countless and it is impossible to say and write them here, and people inside Afghanistan cannot talk about the crimes and atrocities of the Taliban with foreign tourists because they are afraid of being arrested, tortured and killed. They are afraid of the Taliban, that's why they censor themselves in front of foreign cameras and even praise the Taliban and their government.

    Haha, so you were expecting free food and free tickets in Herat too?😅 Now I know why you guys spent a whole month in Afghanistan-because almost everything was free.😆
    Lastly, a kind request, brother. Afghans are very hospitable people, so please don’t take advantage of their hospitality by looking for free food or huge discounts. If some big businesses offer free things or discounts, it’s okay, but not from the small ones.

    • @rohitbhalla97
      @rohitbhalla97  Месяц назад +3

      Definitely not, we are not like that.. we are just trying to portray positive figure of Afghans so that people start coming here. And we don’t expect free food, it’s just the hospitality of people here that they don’t let us take out money from our pockets, but vice versa we made our own initiatives to gift their kids , to take them out for ice cream & shakes after dinner.. Tganks for all the love & support but please don’t judge us on what you mentioned..
