"Pua Hone" - Kanoe Miller's Hula Studio

This is a performance by renowned hula dancer Kanoe Miller's special class of students from all over the United States and even other countries in the world. They normally learn hula with her online via Zoom, but once a year they gather in Hawai'i for a special week of hula lessons in person, and tonight Kanoe is proud to present her students at the venue where she normally performs, the House without a Key at the Halekulani Hotel in Honolulu, on February 8, 2025.
This song was written by the late Rev. Dennis Kamakahi for his future wife when he proposed to her. Pua Hone means "Honey Flower" -- not a real flower but a metaphor for his beloved sweetheart.
