Those bacon and egg rolls looked amazing! I’m in my camper van right now and eating muesli and fruit for breakfast and feeling mighty envious 😂

Hahah. Thanks Richard. Have to say the bacon and egg rolls with that special sauce and Smokey taste of the bacon was out of this world. But. A good muesli and fruit dish ain’t that bad either. I prefer coco pops when travelling solo!!!! Hahaha. Cheers. Alex.

Hey Shane. Hahaha. I recall once around a camp kitchen, whilst she was tossing around the cutlets for all, some
Bloke offered to take her off my hands. But he is no longer with us sadly as he had a misfortunate accident. Hahaha. Thanks for your comments. She is giggling in the corner here. Have a good night. Cheers. Alex.

hi have you taken the van across the Simpson or up the OTT? am interested to hear how you fared. Thanks Jacques

Hey Jacques. Having run tours to both the Simpson Desert and Old Telly Track for over 20 years in my trusty Toyota I know the tracks pretty well. To date I have not taken our van and quite frankly probably would not recommend it after now learning more about the capabilities of the van. I reckon we could sneak through the Simpson okay but I would not do it without a back up 4wd who could get me out of strife if I got terribly bogged and also carry spare fuel etc for us. As for the OTT I would not risk it as the van is limited by ground clearance and also we can’t get a snorkel for it so some of the water crossings would be an issue. We do have plans to travel to cape York but will stick to the main development road and drop into places like Weipa, captains billy landing, fruit bat falls and chilli beach and of course bamaga and up to the tip. Hope this helps. I think the realty is our vans are great tourers for outback touring and forestry trails and beaches but not the off road 4wd stuff typically seen driven by the larger 4wds. Cheers. Alex.
