Blessed are those who bust Morgan Dollars out of graded slabs and sell them for honest prices.
Love these Coin Guy videos..... because I can remember the "way back when" days he talks about. Having a paper route in the early 60's and having some extra money (silver coins jingling in my pockets) to buy a candy bar for a nickel...a big candy bar at that! Thanks for sharing these Spegtacular! Greatly appreciated! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Glad these fine gentleman can bring you back to those days! Have a great day, Jim!
Coin Guy is so knowledgeable I like learning from him .with age comes wisdom....
He has a lot to teach!
And they’re trying to get rid of the older generation by making meds hard to get and expensive. They’ve shoved meds down our throats instead of educating on healthier supplements and food. I’ve tried being healthier but it interferes with my meds and makes me feel sicker. It’s kind of like a withdrawal from prescriptions but our older bodies can’t handle it? I take as many supps as my body can stand anyways but it’s a long process that is confusing at times. Just makes me wonder how many will be left to share all that knowledge/wisdom and just great stories. I try and say as much as the kids will listen to but they are easily distracted. They have no clue what’s going on and don’t want to hear it. I’m breaking their good vibes. 😳 Man it’s gonna be a rough road ahead. And they’ll wish I was still around to ask like I wish my dad was still around to ask or my gma. Man how many times I’ve said that…can’t even count
Very interesting to see the coin guy breaking higher graded slabs open because he doesn't believe the grade given is correct. That's an honest guy with integrity. I like how personable and relatable he is. He understands the average everyday American struggle's.
I enjoyed hearing that as well. It’s hard to find honest people like that these days!
I started helping my Dad at age 6 doing drywall using drywall mud, tape and knives. I was a journeyman at age 18.
Cool story bro 🙄🙄🙄🙄
One of these days I am going to the a road trip to see him from nd
You’ll have to let us know how it goes! That sounds like quite the road trip!
Love the Coin Guy, I learned so much.Thank you and God Bless!
Thank you so much for watching, Donna!
Strangely enough, I can still remember when I bought my ag 1916-D Merc dime.... called an order in from a pay phone at work off of an ad I saw in a coin magazine from one of the dealers....sent a money order for $88 for it and received it in about 2 weeks. That helped me complete my dime collection at the time. When I sold the set a few years later, I doubled my money on the set.....ah, I remember.....
20 years ago I sold a 1916 for $83 lol I found it under a porch that I jackhammerd out
But can you remember the password you made 2 hours ago? 😆 it’s fun to relive what memories we hold on to!
Thanks, SpegTacular and coin guy for another fun ride in your way back machine. Blessings to you and America.
Thanks for watching, Jack!
Thanks for sharing the knowledge, always enjoy the videos!
Thanks for watching, Bill!
Favorite coin duo on YT! Great video and awesome collection! 🫡
Yet another interesting Coin Guy video. It feels like there's so much going on in the world that any one of these flashpoints around the world will have a bearing on the price of metals not to mention things like inflation, interest rates and an upcoming election. The rest of 2024 is going to be turbulent
Always enjoy the Guy Interviews. Agree with him as a Baby Boomer, that the world is really mucked up right now, that we are suffering from fear and uncertainty due to inflation and world events, and the crazy gender, race, and equality issues that are so prevalent in our daily lives.
Guy nailed it, had to sell most of my gold to stay afloat last year...
Love going to spring Hill and talking to the coin guy!
His knowledge is priceless!
@@mrsspegtacular6484 AND personality plus!

Jim from Cooperstown
Thanks for watching, Jim! Your support of my husband is appreciated 😊
Great information and educational
Don't have to search for an honest person anymore! We found him in FL. God Bless you!
God bless America, and coin guy
That 2oz bar is sweet 👍🏻🇺🇸
I am 77, and I remember cheap things, but we didn't have much or any money.
It's true in the around 1976 you could get a nice breakfast for under 3 dollars with as much coffee as you want.😊
We used to go to the corner Mom & Pop store (We had two to choose from.) and buy a hamburger, a snack cake like the snowballs or cupcakes, and a bottle of Pepsi and get change from a dollar. The hamburger was $0.50, the cake was $0.25, and the 10oz bottle of Pepsi was $0.20. If you splurged, cheeseburgers were $0.55. However, the nickel you saved bought a bit of penny candy. You could fill up one of those hand-sized paper bags with penny candy for a dime that was probably silver.
Now we're talking 1968-69.
Cool beans, thanks guys!
this GUY is a national treasure !!!!!
I remember going to burger chef and got a bakers dozen of cheese burgers for a dollar. My dad fed the whole family for under two dollars with six orders of fries and cheese burgers.
Awesome video. Thank you, SpegTacular ... FJB 💕😺😺💕🐕🐕🐕 FJB !!!
I am the same age as Coin Guy and grew up in the Bronx. I would go to the movies on a Saturday, 3 movies a cartoon and a short. The candy counter sold a pack of 10 cookies for 5 cents. My allowance was 25cents daily which I would get a Pepsi and 3 cupcakes! They were the days, I delivered The Post newspaper and a customer got the paper 6 days for 60 cents which my cut was 13 cents after knocking on doors at night to collect the 60 cents. I averaged 11 cents per customer in tips. Life was good and if you hustled you could pick up some money shoveling snow or carrying groceries at the supermarket. Converse sneakers were $9.00 which I could not afford. Great video and bless the Coin Guy.
Sure enjoy watching wish I could visit The coin guys shop, reminds me of coin shops I went to when I was young, I live in the Dallas area seems like all the great ones are gone.,..Thank you look forward to the next offering !!!
I want that 2oz gold bar 🥴
5g
Hello from Olympia, WA but I own a house nearby in Ocala.
From the coin trays, from having change, as well as from coin roll hunting, I do set aside the copper cents. Every now and then, if I find a good deal on 10 lb of US pennies, of course I hop on that and organize them hahaha
I thought I was the only “nerd” who would organize copper pennies!!! Some people would be surprised at the pennies that can be found in circulation. I have a set of Lincoln sets, only missing two. Most are actually in descent condition. That is real coin collecting. Of course I have unc/proof sets that I bought the coins from my LCS .
Hey coin guy all you Gotta do is take your phone if you got an iPhone and use the Google image and take a photo of the tray and it should show you a whole bunch of them online for sale
FYI, one kilo equals 1000 grams.
Coin guy needs to update his silver content on the Australian Florin you showed. Pre 1946 is 92.5% silver, 1946 onwards they are 50%
The airplane is a Douglas DC-2 14 passenger twin engine aircraft first use was 1934. Pretty cool find. Definitely worth a dollar for that history.
Hi 👋 from 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates
My daughter and I found .32 cents at the grocery store and I told her let's see if we can find anything to buy with the money we found. We found a generic can of beans for .48 cents which means we found nothing. Thank you for all the educational videos and awesome coins we get to view.
44:00 surely a woodworker could make one of wood.
My first job was shining shoes for 50 cents a shine in 1977. Most people would pay a $. I remember it was the summer that Elvis died. I was eight years old.
3D Scan that tray send the info off to a display case company...have them put coin guy on the finished product 😊 Any local hobby wood working guys in Florida.
That 2 oz gold bar is fantastic.😮
The US has begun bringing offshored industry back home. That's part of the reason for the current inflationary environment that we must go through, as a country. Fight the good fight, people.
Love from springwater ontario canada
Time to make his own holders! CGG - Coin Guy Grading
Dude that 5$ cheif bill holy crap!!!!!!
I'm surprised how I thought at first this wasn't going to be as interesting as it is!
Hey Coin Guy... we're coming to visit you brother. Early to middle summer. Hope you've got some good stuff...... I know you will.
Great show!!!
I loved the part when Guy told everyone that he has a quarter million copper pennies back there..lololol maybe edit that part out before the Optimusks confiscate it? Lol jk
They can't afford nor are they willing to go door to door to door
Outstanding....
Thanks for watching 😊
Love coin guy takes me back to stacking in the early 70s.
Spectacular videos
Thanks for watching, Jose!
Please make more videos with this guy!! Im a new follower and i enjoy this!!!
Im only 39 but i still see how prices have gone up so much here in UK. I love coin guy videos because its coin talk and just general conversation
I first flew on a DC-3.
It is a real picture postcard. For those who collect them $1 is a good deal.
Wlould love to visit! Great history
I had a friend that 10 years or so back was purchasing $50,000.00 in pennies at a time. He had 5 machines set up to sort for the copper pennies. Copper price was high if you recovered the copper by smelting the penny was worth more then a penny. The government literally passed a law that your couldn't destroy currency. He was stuck with a bunch of pennies. I think there was a lot more people then him doing it.
It's funny how people don't correlate a higher wage with goods feeling affordable.
THANKS GUYS GREAT VID WOW I LOVE IT!!!!!!
What was your favorite part, James?
BE CAREFUL! I had the same rifle in polymer in 9mm caliber. I was shooting it on my mini range at my house and I loaded a new mag, racked the bolt, and the damn thing fired as soon as it chambered the round. It was pointed down range so no damage was done but I did have to change my underwear! I sold it to a friend and told him about the malfunction. I bought the weapon new and did clean the shipping lube before shooting including cleaning the firing pin. Just a bit of info to make everyone aware that this happened. Just be aware that this did happen to me and I am an avid shooter and practice gun safety,
Really appreciate you and coin Guy but next time you can tell him 1000 grams is equal to one kilo 👍
Thanks for another great video! 👍🏻
4 one inch black cat fire crackers wrapped up were one cent each. Late Sixties, in Houston, TX.
Thanks for the info

In 1969 in Merrill Island at a union 76 gas station gas was $.17 a gallon!
Hello specular and coin guy
Hello, Gregory!
In 1980 the decretive Aluminum fencepost caps were worth a Quarter , and the Little old lady was screaming at the Kids to Go to Work and Stop Stealing fenceposts , true story :\ QC
Thanks again to you andthe coin guy.😊
Those angled slab display cases... Don't like 'em. Yes, I can see how they can save space when you have a dozen coins with the same design, but that is rarely the case with world coins. It's more important to see coin than the label. If I'm just browsing, the label isn't going to catch my eye, the coin is.
Pulling out copper pennies... talk about pinching pennies.
We had a penny candy store ❤❤❤
GREAT video!
So I’ve been watching you guys for about a year now on my smart TV on RUclips not realizing that I wasn’t following you on my phone so I wasn’t getting any notifications on my phone on RUclips but now I have followed you on my phone. I guess I am watching on two different accounts.
I’ll take it!
I fell asleep while watching this video... I then had a dream where you, me and a few others from my work were traveling on business...an apocalypse broke out and we were trying to get home... In my dream, you woke me up to talk about coins 😂
Let’s make a movie
Me too guy like two cents I would buy a bag full of gum and sucker with gum in them and would sell them for.50 cents and the bubble yum gum for I think .25 cents each and you got 5 pieces of gum for I think .50 a pk .in 1988
I trust his guess. He will probably be spot on.
Always agreat video with the coin guy keep it up.
Thanks for watching 😊
Not this guy again lol 😂 just kidding only coin shop vids worth watching thanks for the content as always
great podcast thumbs up
CHIEF RUNNING ANTELOPE ....NICE
MRS.SPEGS SHOWING ALL THOSE COINS AND SPEGS WITH GOOD QUESTIONS TO THE COIN GUY AND THE COIN GUY 1,2,3 WITH HIS ANSWERS....TOTAL KNOWLEDGE AGAIN...GREAT VID
Awesome video
Let coin guy know those slab holders are probably 3D printed. You just need someone who has the design.
Hello Speg and Mrs Spegtacular 😄
Hello, Kayne 😊 How’d you like the new video?
@@mrsspegtacular6484I really liked it , I’m rewatching it . I normally watch them all twice 👍
Would love to meet the coin guy! Thanks Speg
UGH...I feel old...
Gold is the currency of king.
Silver is the currency of gentleman.
Paper note is the currency of slave.
I believe a kilogram is 1000 grams🤔
not sure what he was talking about with the meds and the two step and making his own medication. he seems to be well stocked on the collectible metals and was ready to make a sale today.
I’m one of those people who want a 500 or 1000 note! 😁
Most of the time it's the credit card companies and banks fault for offering high credit limit on cards they should never offer so much credit to people or give them two cards
Spegtacular, are those Charles Russel Bronze sculptures at the beginning of the video?
I just saw sal ( salivate metals) talking about the mints saying how very little gold they are selling.

Does he grade?
Does he trade?
Look out!
Here comes the Coinguy-man!
It tickles me that the MIC does it’s darndest to ignore silver, it’s like there’s none in our rockets or guidance systems. Never mind the tired 450 oz in the tomahawk, that’s not the only system that uses it!!! But never mind, nothin to c here, beep beep beep that’s my backing up the truck sound
