I'm sorry. I guess I didn't make it clear. In the demonstration, I'm using version 1.1 and explaining that version 1.2 doesn't work. So I'm saying no no no to version 1.2 but yes to version 1.1 on the Pa5x.
Ooo that's awkward, you can see why they have done it tho, for the masses that just use the keyboard only to show what they have done, but for you guys, when you are jamming with a detuned colleagues who are following the chords, that's gonna cause big problems! As a thought (I don't have a 5X), although fiddly, could you record your detuned version and put the audio onto a pad, re-tune back up (so the chords show correctly again) and switch off all the sounds except the (detuned) pad audio so the sequencer is playing along with the pad audio but only the pad audio can be heard? Might do as a work around, bit of a faff tho and if you decide to change the progression you have to re-record a de-tuned version assign to a pad and generally swear a lot at how cr@ppy 1.2 release is, but it might work. Be interesting to see if you get a work around from Korg.
You are right. Sometimes I detune the accompaniments and not detune the whole keyboard. For some styles, that even sounds better. I even tried to install firmware version 1.2.1, and it still acts the same. I firmly believe that this Korg Pa5x has more potential than Korg is allowing it to have.
They should put an option for those who want screen transpose in version 1.1 or for those who want version 1.2 because not everyone has this need but in fact this is a reality. many guitarists play in various tunings. I played with a trumpeter with a Bb trumpet and I was playing C and he was like, "I C too!" But I didn't know that almost all brass is in Bb, so I transposed my keyboard -1 and everyone was happy. Furthermore, I would like there to be the possibility of also recording the var intro end and break in the chord sequence, or even later, the possibility of editing a new sequence or an existing one step by step. I have been a c# and swift programmer. I would gladly work in KORG Italy!!!
Hello. If you are working with brass section then it is better to have the real chord sound(transposed sound) on the display, not the one you are hitting on the keyboard. That way you would be able to communicate in the same sounding chords with those instruments. The guitar and bass(and the like) would be the only instruments capable of detune up to certain point. You should see the face of my guitar player when I ask him to detune his guitar more than half step. Maybe in a future update KORG can add a feature to deactivate the chord transpositions showed in the display. I hope you can find a workaround to this problem so you can keep making music, which is the final goal. Thanks for sharing!
You are so right. We are all using this keyboard in different ways, and Korg needs to understand that. Hopefully, they will. I did find a workaround by staying with version 1.1 and it seems to work. Take care, my friend.
And someone told me that when you go and play a chord sequence it shuts off the lower keyboard that that's normal I don't like using their keys keyboard set so whatever it is cuz they always have the lowest keyboard off then I got to go messing around pushing buttons like I use chord sequencing maybe for choruses and stuff like instrumentals
I use midi notes for The vocals and I use them on the lower keyboard because that's where the chords are, so basically I'm playing along with the chord sequencer and adding vocal parts ,a certain ways with certain notes
No, úplně tomu netozumím, ale zdá se mi, že kytaru chcete podladit, kdežto keyboard transponovat, což jsou různé věci a transpozice je něco jiného než podladění. Co takhle na keyboardu místo transpozice použít podladění?
Unfortunately, I’m not a guitar player but I hope KORG people read all these Feedback’s from KORG users I have a different problem which is not related to this subject but I am posting it. I hope they do read it the problem I have after importing sample loops. You cannot change the CV length.
I sure hope so. Korg needs to listen to the people that are using their gear. You are right, you cannot change the CV length of a previous recorded Style. You have to delete the previous information first. What's up with that?
A stringed instrument can be tuned down. So a guitar player, because he likes that sound or he likes to sing at a lower key, will tune his guitar down three half steps. But when he plays an A minor chord, he is really playing an F# minor. So although he is tuning down three half steps he is still playing the same chords and progressions that if you look at a textbook, it would be an A minor. ruclips.net/video/caaluY5MF3E/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Yes, you have to write the sequence with the transposer set to zero. If you transpose first, when you play a note, it will record that note transposed and not the notes you are actually playing.
You going to have to reach out to korg about this.. never thought to try this also thanks
Thanks for the video, but I don’t understand the No No No in the title given that what you showed us is actually a good feature.

@@jonmicheals621 oh my! Hope they make as an option in next version. Thanks for the nice video.
@@CoolJacketCoder Thanks!
I menstined in my previous video this is great future. 😊

Yes, you get it. Things are different in the real world. We don't all have the same needs in an instrument. We all work differently. 👍

I know you put 1.2 version and mine's been freezing when I'm using the mixer sometimes what I'm soloing things sometimes it will become unresponsive
I had a problem with V1.2. So, I reinstalled V1.1, and I have no problems with that version.
I had problems with version 1.1

@korg
Спочатку пишеш в ля мінорі послідовність акордів , а транспонуєш вже пізніше
