But, in these first three videos, your voice is at a pleasing level, but I can't hear the actual instrument, and if I turn the volume up so I can hear it, your voice blows me out of my chair. I've been waiting for this keyboard. I saw the price on it. Yamaha needs to be shaking in their boots!
How did they manage to make it sound like it was made in the nineties, it is beyond me. Great work Korg, you always make your keyboards sound like shit no matter what, no matter the year.

It is buggy and problematic, freezes all the time and many other problems people experience with it, still more than one year after introducing. Even if not such a bug house, it sounds bad. If you like it, great. Objectively, it is an over-limited garbage made to produce high RMS and LUFS figures for no good reason, while sounding bad. So no, I do not believe you, only a fanboy will defend such a bad and overpriced product.
@@Echochamber79 With Korg it is not how you set it, you can not set a broken hardware. They all sound broken compared to any other machine that calculates ones and zeros. This is a known fact, something that Korg does make it sum the audio badly, no low frequencies, it eats the audio when you play hi hats and kicks at the same time, and finally when you compare it live with any other brand Korg sounds like you stuffed the speakers with blankets. So it is not how you set it, you cannot set it to work properly because it came broken from the factory. And this is not only about how the factory stuff sounds, which is also mostly bad, but how it reproduces the audio in general. Put it next to Yamaha, Roland, Medeli, Ketron, or your average PC, and then play a set of the same samples then listen to what happens. I constantly get emails from all over the world, people asking the same thing, why it cannot sound like Yamaha, they paid so much money. I do not know why, all tests show that everything is ok technically, but as soon as you go to play live it breaks apart. And on top of that it is buggy and extremely expensive, and it still has 2 of the biggest problems that every previous Korg Pa had: 1. Only one SET at a time 2. No copy protection Anyone who wants to be honest and ethical cannot praise this. The same goes for the horrendous Ketron Event, which is praised and adored religiously, but it is actually the worst overpriced POS on the planet.

This is a ROMpler and Sampler, comparing different patches makes sense the same as comparing which car has better sun visor lights. Your string sounds are real for 300ms, after that the synthesis and envelopes do the rest. Stop talking from your ignorance. Another big mistake… they keep making these heavier and heavier!!! Make one out of carbon fiber… If korg made a module like the Ketron SD 90, but out of carbon fiber (ultra light weight/small/portable), then I would buy it… They should add an iOS/Android companion app with the ability to control the keyboard/Module wirelessly and over usb while performing live. They should add balanced XLR L/R outputs.. They should be 4 microphone inputs, each one with its own multi effects/dsp/gain control/phantom power.. They should add the ability to load VST/VSTI/plugins/kontakt plugins for live use.. without the need of an external computer… They should add the Korg Module app as a built in plugin. With ability to purchase/restore packages.. They should add multiple nvme slots.. They should add upgradable ram slots (used to be offered in older models) they should offer more internal user storage… they should add the ability (like yamaha) to play styles directly off of any usb without having to load it into a memory bank… they should add a Bluetooth input, to connect iPhone/iPad/android audio/midi… they should add audio over usb for studio/live playback/recording. They should add the ability to record each channel instrument/voice/microphone/guitar individually (built in DAW) while performing live… they should add Wi-Fi for OTA updates, and style/voice/set/sample download/upload and live stream (RUclips/twitch/Instagram/Twitter spaces/clubhouse/rumble/ustream/Vimeo/Spotify and apple podcasts…) They should add WhatsApp, Telegram, Threema, and signal…etc… as a built in feature, enabling you to call your family, friends, and possibly a record label/studio on a secure line, where you play music without a major reduction in quality.. so that you can host a virtual private party/event without the need for a bunch of accessories… they should add S/PDIF out… they should add USER PROFILES so that a band/family/karaoke bar that has different musicians can save their own preferences/performances/set list/styles/voices/samples without affecting anyone else’s preferences/performances/set list/styles/voices/samples… With user profiles, there should be a feature to auto back up in real-time (to a flash drive/micro sd) any user profile with all the preferences, performances, styles, samples, voices, recordings, sets, and playlists... and restore it to any compatible keyboard… They should add a built in style converter to convert/import styles from other brands/models of keyboards to Korg… They should add an editable step sequencer/style creater.. (have it on my Technics kn7000) they should add the ability to layer multiple voices into one voice which can then be layered again…. Without the need manually adjust the oscillators or configurations.. while also retaining the ability to modify/edit each individual sound/note/effect with in the sound/voice.. They should add more simultaneous effects per sound/voice… They should add the ability to make sounds/voices out of a song.. with the ability to match the resonance, tone, effect.., for example if you load an mp3/wav…etc and there is a particular sound you like, you would select it based on the time signature, and it would then model the sound accordingly; while giving you the ability the modify/adjust it in any way… you can select multiple parts of a song for different octaves… it should have the ability to create a style from an mp3/wav…etc.. where it analyzes the whole song, then it would extract the style, and assign Individual drum/percussion symbols so that you can modify/adjust the style in any way… it would use some of the same techniques from the “voices out of a song” tool.. it should have a feature where it can separate each instrument/voice from an mp3/wav/ogg/ac3/aac.. into separate channels to enable modifications/adjustments, and for auto accompaniment creation… once instruments are separated, you can change the instrument in a specified channel, you can change the voice/lyrics, and you can also change the beat… They should add the ability to add a voice from an mp3/wav/ogg/aac/ac3 into the vocal harmonizer/voice changer.. so if anyone wanted to talk/sing like Pavarotti, Whitney Houston, Billy Holiday, dean martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, or Brian Johnston… etc… they could… Some of these features may be present on other keyboards/brands (I don’t know), but they are not included in any Korg… These are my ideas, and Korg or anyone else/any other company, and or any parent company/organization and or any subsidiaries and or any partners must pay me royalties (amount TBD by me) to use them… Dream list of features…

I have been working with carbon fiber for about 10 years now. 1lbs of carbon fiber = approximately 20² sheet at $3-$15/lbs depending on quantity ordered. 1 lbs of aluminum = approximately $1.40 Cost to process aluminum is significantly higher then that of carbon fiber. For the 1 lbs of aluminum there is less material, vs carbon fiber.
I am trying to find out if i can edit keyboard ranges and velocity params for individual sounds? Looks like the sounds play across the entire keyboard?
What is the keyboard used on the Korg Pa5X-88. The specifications do not confirm this at all. Is it the same as the SV-2 or the Kronos? Please specify and also I noticed no Data List available for what styles and voices the Pa5X neither available. So where is the software update that was coming in May? nothing, 1 year lost waiting, no quick record, this is what I always use in this PA keyboards, but now nothing, I only use the pa4, the 5x is just using space going older. This is not OK, I think his will be my last korg keyboard, after about 10 I bought in years,, price went much up and features down, that's not OK.

Hey Korg Akai MPC 61 key has enetered the market n raised d bar ....Isn't it time for Korg to upgrade d Pa series to be able to do more professional studio grade work by incorporating a fully functional editable high quality audio recording section instead of mp3? Kronos has 16track audio which can be added to d Pa5x or Pa6x. If u scared adding fully functional audio cost may increase d cost of d workstation ...you can revive one of Korg previous audio workstation (Korg D 8 or 16, D 24 etc) exclusive audio mixer workstation with special sync functionality to be sold separately. Those who prefer could buy separately. That if Korg wants to b on top of this competition.
No shame in competing. They have taken inspiration rather than copy and implemented these features in their own way, better than Roland or Yamaha. So no shame for Korg here, shame on Roland for not bringing out an arranger after 7 years and on Yamaha for not implementing important sequencing, sampling and editing features after numerous requests from their users. In the professional arranger world, Korg is preferred because they listen extensively to their users, innovate and provide extensive capability, whereas Yamaha just wants to offer an alternative or a competing product.
