I’ve played for a little bit and I’m glad I can come to your channel to get advice and a idea how to do things in Ark especially with taming new wild life, So thank you Phoo your helpful guide in Ark
You didn’t mention that high level ones spawn on carno Island a ton, but only when you don’t check what level they are before killing it. If you look at their level it’s always low, but if you don’t they’ll be 140-150 every time. -,-
I tamed my first Saber with a taming pen and my first Argy a few weeks ago. Dropped it right in and used tranq darts but i was I think level 74 or so when i attempted it. And I thought it was a rush getting my first Argy LOL. These videos are so helpful. You may not get something the first time but with practice it gets easier to tame things.
When I first started playing and knew very little I tamed two low level sabertooths and set them on breeding ran off forgot about them came back and have many baby sabertooths wandering around and of course I never bread before I wasnt sure what to do but it was so easy and man those low level bred sabers even only petting them jhad much more damage than the ones I had originally tamed I usually start out near the Mosh pit area just because of all the different things close by, yes very dangerous but a lot of tames available and Metal nodes just up the hill and a fair amount of Sabertooths roaming near that huge Bolder . Every time I watch one of these Phlinger Phoo videos, I have the Urge to restart my character from the beginning
Saber kitties are one of my top favorites. I really wish they got a pride boost up to 3 with alpha. With alpha with bleed would make them a must have tame like allos.
@@jiro6172 not what I'm thinking of it squats down like a procoptodon you see crosshairs so you can aim and as soon as you release it pounces straight forward then it pins anything up to the size of a stego down gnashing it with those huge canines causing massive blood loss perfect ambush predator.
You missed the speed trick. There's a hidden little mechanic of gaining speed in a jump, rapidly jumping as you travel can build some pretty good speed.
Speaking of taming. I was trying to solo tame a Titanosaur. 100+ cannonballs in and finally feeling that i am getting a hang on it the game DESPAWN it on me.
Good video as usual 👌🏽 It had been worth mention that sabertooths are excellent for caves. Tame high lvl saber and take it for cave explorations and you'll never run out of chitin. Bring an otter 🦦 and you have a dream team for caves.
Am mildly surprised you didn't mention they also collect a crap ton of chitin, oh so useful for cementing paste etc, and readily available in the mosh pit thanks to hyenas, scorpions and more than a few trilobite. Otherwise, very informative. Hope the wedding went well.
Hallo phlinger, thank you so much for these, you helped me setup on scorched earth and attempt a Scorched earth hardcore 100 days series! (Attempt 236 right now btw. I have a problem.) Anyway, just wanted to thank you! Good day!
Heya phlinger probably my first post just gotta say love your content! One question for yah all my dinos are lvled up to like 1000 attack you allways put your points into hp is there a point in the lvling of attack is overkill or what? lets just say when i get myself an 150 rex his stats once hes lvl 280 or so will be 1100 attack 2000 stamina and 15k hp. am i doing things wrong"} cheers and hopefully you respond.
nope.....thats cool. You'll learn what you need in health for different situations, bosses etc = more health with high melee, utility = more weight etc..gotta love this game.
Few things in Ark are cuter than a Baby Saber with those bright greenish yellow eyes.

*TRUTH*
True
Yeah and the Dino you’re looking for is always level 5. The dinos you aren’t looking for are always max level

This series is so nostalgic ngl. I started watching way before I played ARK.

“I would definitely not recommend punching this guy out”
Bet. Be right back.
Edit: he’s right guys, not a good idea.
We need an Ark Basics on the paracer this time around.
When you bola it just build a quick one foundation trap around it. Easy peasy and you don't have to worry about it taking damage.

Too many dinos have that already...
@@PR-xm5zc not really
Pride boost with a bleeding pounce attack.
@@warlord5295 there are so many that do bleed. Maybe a broken bone attack

First time, long time. Good ol' Mosh Pit location is my all time favorite area. I also call it that thanks to you. Keep it up, bud.

Good Morning Phlinger and Family!
Speaking of taming. I was trying to solo tame a Titanosaur. 100+ cannonballs in and finally feeling that i am getting a hang on it the game DESPAWN it on me.
That hurts.
Go to Extinction, learn the mek engrams, and tame it with the mek rockets instead. They work much better.
@@Asertix357 That is kinda the plan :)

They are also incredibly good for organic polymer, probably as good as a moschops

my favourite ark series on the platform ngl.

Good morning phlinger
I am returning to ark and this video has helped me out! thank you :)

So what exactly was the "Updated" part? Was it just an update on taming strategy? I saw nothing different about the Saber.....
You wheeze too? I do ...a lot..
Why don't you call the c for craft huh huh pretty good right
I like to think that ABC means Ark Basics Channel :)
C should stand for checklist - like or comment if you agree
Hey Phlinger, just need you to know that a friend and I name all our sabertooths after Red Dwarf references and it's all your fault. (Thank you.)
My igunadon just killed a bright blue green and purple sabertooth :'(
C now stands for "Current" ? ;)
