One of Will Farrell’s most underrated and hard to find movies was “Stranger Than Fiction”. It wasn’t heavily advertised when it came out but it’s incredible. It has Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman and Queen Latifa as well. Happy New Year! 🎊
The only thing long about Prime is the ridiculously long commercial breaks they put you through to try and get you to pay for their more expensive no commercial service. They are not a good service at all in my opinion when even the 17 dollar service gets you tons and tons of commercials. Not worth it at all unless you have the extra money to fork over that they bleed you for.
@@pamglastetter455until it isn’t. Amazon Prime has created a lot of ill will over $2.99, wouldn’t you agree? Sorry I really enjoyed your comment even though it sounds like I'm hating lol
Thank you for saving me this. I read All You Need Is Kill long before the movie came out, and learned in the author's notes that he modeled the book on his own process for winning video games. I remember he said that he didn't really even feel success after the final kill in a game because he felt like he'd set the outcome that he was going to win when he first started playing.
@@nstents7781 That's so interesting, it totally explains where the concept came from. It's exactly like playing a video game where the enemy movements are all pre-choreographed. Only a matter of time before you have enough foreknowledge to win.

So many great scenes and performances in In The Heat of The Night. You can see Rod Steiger's character's bigotry being challenged and his wrestling with that; maybe his best role ever. We take a strong black character for granted nowadays but back then Poitiers Performance(as most of his performances) was ground breaking. Side note -if Joker 2 is a musical, then Blues Brothers is a musical....and a million times better.
I proudly count myself as somebody who has been part of the cult following of what I call the skating movie because I can never remember the title. I will say that sing that movie as a woman and seeing it straight van would be a very different take.
RE watching censored versions of movies on TV: Honestly, when I was not looking for something intense, I often preferred the versions with toned down gore or violence. IIRC, early DVD player remotes had a button for a feature that allowed alternate scenes to be played, although I never saw a DVD that used it. It would have been nice to be able to switch between original and modified scenes (or even scenes cut for one reason or another).
I've been looking forward to seeing what they did with Fall Guy. I find it ironic that it has come full circle. Fall Guy the movie, a spinoff of Fall Guy the TV show. When Fall Guy the TV show was a spinoff of the movie Hooper!
