6 Months as Pet-Sitting Digital Nomads: Expectations vs Reality | Weekly Recap #9 | Triple Digs

This week is our 6-month anniversary when started traveling permanently as pet-sitting digital nomads. We sold all of our things, packed the car, and hit the road to do sittings in other cities. Over the past 6 months we traveled to 4 countries and completed 12 gigs - all while working our online jobs and having no permanent place to call home.
We'll review our top 5 expectations going into this new lifestyle and compare them to what actually happened over the past 6 months.
About our sittings:
For our pet-sitting gigs we do not exchange any money with the hosts. We care for their pets, home, and plants in exchange for living in their home. Nearly all of our sittings were secured by using the TrustedHouseSitters app/website, which allows hosts to post a listing and sitters to apply for listings. The service is free to use to view listings, but a paid membership is required to post a listing as a host and/or apply for a listing as a sitter.
