The only reason why little 8 year olds are propelled to sell them outside of Walmart in the cold because if you sell a lot of cookies individually, you can get these little rewards. The cap being 1000-2000 boxes sold, with the prize ranging from anywhere between an iPad or a fully payed trip to a popular Girl Scout Campsite for 2 weeks. They switch it up from year to year.

In Pennsylvania, the lemon cookies are called Lemonades and they look like lemon slices with lemon icing on the bottom. They're in my top three with Thin Mints and Samoas. The s'mores cookie also has a different variation in some states, but they're sandwich-style in PA too. Side note: I prefer chewy cookies to crunchy ones, but that's just my personal preference.
That reminds me! I have a cousin that lives in PA who was a girl scout. We would meet up to swap the lemon cookies for their special lemon ones like they were rare trading cards xD

When my troop leaders found out what I'd done (gasp), they made me go back & return all the $$$ I'd collected, and cancel all the orders. They said my MO was "too dangerous". Didn't appreciate my initiative, my entrepreneurial spirit, my industrious nature, my courage, or my sales skills whatsoever. That right there was the End of MY scouting days. It was a bore anyways.

Since I was a kid watching cartoon network in Pakistan, all I've ever wanted to try were jawbreakers and GIRL SCOUT COOKIES. Still on my list of something to experience in life.
Dude, i felt the same way about jawbreakers. I tried several when I was around 10 and it was a huge let down. I started questioning how the Ed's could love something so bland and awkward to eat. It takes days to actually finish a jawbreaker, and they taste like sugar, nothing else. I'm talking about the real deal jawbreakers too, not the small ones you would sometimes get at Halloween. Hope you get a chance to try both, the cookies are really good and nostalgia might make jaebreakers good too lol.

I’ve been in Girl Scouts for about ten years. My parents even worked at Girl Scout First Headquarters. Hell, I’m still in Scouts! And let me say, still, I've never tried all the cookies. The only cookies I have eaten are Shortbread because. It was always funny when ppl ask what cookie they should get when I'm selling at booths. I used to be a Girl Scout, was forced into it thanks to my not motherly mother, and let me tell you. It was absolutely terrible. Constantly trying to be cute and nice towards people who would either ignore you, say mean things about you, or do the act of “you’re a nice guy but” without even knowing who you are in the first place. The only cookies I liked eating were the Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos. Almost all the cookies are dry and it sucks constantly having to drink after every bite.

My sister use to be in Girl scouts and for her troop, the leader of the troop decided that we should have all the boxes held at our apartment. So for about a year there were stacks of cardboard boxes in the dining room filled with different kinds of cookies. Former GS. So theres I believe two different bakeries that make the cookies, and depending on where you live the cookies have different names. Where I'm from all the cookies have the most basic names compared to the ones in this video, like Trefoils here are called Shortbreads, Samoas are called caramel DeLites, Tagalongs are Peanutbutter Patties etc. We have a lemon cookie thats the same size and shape as the Lemon-Ups but instead its a lemony shortbread cookie with a lemon slice design on the front and lemon icing on the back (those are my favs btw). We never had the toffee or smores ones where I live either
You can find knockoff girl scout cookies or even the same thing for much cheaper in the cookie aisle (grasshoppers for example are the same thing as thin mints)

I would agree, except for toffee tastics. Those jump up to S tier if you dunk them in one of those fancy holiday coffees that have cloves, cinnamon and chocolate or something The toffee gets all chewy and the cookie isn't dust anymore it's great, would reccomend

Since I was a kid watching cartoon network in Pakistan, all I've ever wanted to try were jawbreakers and GIRL SCOUT COOKIES.
Still on my list of something to experience in life.
Dude, i felt the same way about jawbreakers. I tried several when I was around 10 and it was a huge let down. I started questioning how the Ed's could love something so bland and awkward to eat. It takes days to actually finish a jawbreaker, and they taste like sugar, nothing else. I'm talking about the real deal jawbreakers too, not the small ones you would sometimes get at Halloween.
Hope you get a chance to try both, the cookies are really good and nostalgia might make jaebreakers good too lol.

I’ve been in Girl Scouts for about ten years. My parents even worked at Girl Scout First Headquarters. Hell, I’m still in Scouts! And let me say, still, I've never tried all the cookies. The only cookies I have eaten are Shortbread because. It was always funny when ppl ask what cookie they should get when I'm selling at booths. I'd lie and recommend whatever cookie had the least amount of sales.

I used to be a Girl Scout, was forced into it thanks to my not motherly mother, and let me tell you. It was absolutely terrible. Constantly trying to be cute and nice towards people who would either ignore you, say mean things about you, or do the act of “you’re a nice guy but” without even knowing who you are in the first place. The only cookies I liked eating were the Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos. Almost all the cookies are dry and it sucks constantly having to drink after every bite.

My sister use to be in Girl scouts and for her troop, the leader of the troop decided that we should have all the boxes held at our apartment. So for about a year there were stacks of cardboard boxes in the dining room filled with different kinds of cookies. No need to wait 2 weeks for the cookies, just pay and grab a box right then and there.
Bruh s’mores are (or were) the freakin best. I couldn’t find any being sold this year, I wonder if something did happen with production cause dang I wasn’t expecting that
Two weeks ago I bought a box of thin mints and accidentally left them in the car in 80 degree weather. Thought I could salvage them in the freezer, but alas they congealed together into one big, black block of cookie.

Former GS. So theres I believe two different bakeries that make the cookies, and depending on where you live the cookies have different names. Where I'm from all the cookies have the most basic names compared to the ones in this video, like Trefoils here are called Shortbreads, Samoas are called caramel DeLites, Tagalongs are Peanutbutter Patties etc. We have a lemon cookie thats the same size and shape as the Lemon-Ups but instead its a lemony shortbread cookie with a lemon slice design on the front and lemon icing on the back (those are my favs btw). We never had the toffee or smores ones where I live either
You can find knockoff girl scout cookies or even the same thing for much cheaper in the cookie aisle (grasshoppers for example are the same thing as thin mints)

I would agree, except for toffee tastics. Those jump up to S tier if you dunk them in one of those fancy holiday coffees that have cloves, cinnamon and chocolate or something
