  • Behavior over goals. Let us elaborate. 🙂 With 2024 sneaking up on us, many people will begin to start thinking about what goals they want to achieve in the new year - us included!
    For myself Nick I want to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my diet. Monica wants to work on reading more books. And Troy wants to eat less sweets.
    But what's more important than the goals that we strive to achieve? The process of how to actually get there. This is something that we've been thinking about more lately.
    Winners and losers have the same goals. Period.
    The question then is, are you obsessed with the goal? Or are you obsessed with the process?
    It's estimated that the New Year's resolution fail rate is at 80%. That's crazy!
    The solution to this, and ultimately the mindset shift that needs to happen, is to perceive the process - and habits you make - AS the ultimate goal.
    For example, is your goal to read 20 books? Or is your goal to create the daily habit of reading 20 pages per day?
    You can't achieve your goals without understanding the necessary steps it takes to get there. Plain and simple. And believe me, we all are still learning this lesson too!
