    I just started my pentest journey, and absolutely enjoy your explanations and extra infos about the topics. The tasks are easy to follow, but the best part is the extra info and details you just give us! Keep up the work, you are helping a lot! Thank you

    I don't get it all the topics in 'junior pentest' were alright/normal level. But privilege escalation was a big jump like i struggled a lot in that topic. I'm thinking of skipping it. what's your thoughts?

    • @stuffy24
      @stuffy24  2 года назад +2

      I absolutely would not skip it personally. If you can't do basic privelage escalation then all your attacks could be pointless. I think it feels like such a jump because it's using such different skills and tactics that the other boxes don't cover but the concepts are still very simple you just have to think of them individually, understand each one as your doing it don't focus on knocking the whole box out in 1 hour. Just take your time understand the concepts and what is happening and before you know it it's second nature to you and your owning all the boxes! Keep killing it but don't skip it because it's super important.

    • @stuffy24
      @stuffy24  Год назад +1

      You have to also realize I have to balance time since these videos have to be somewhat short to keep anyone watching it. I agree though if you want to see some hop in the discord and tell me what you wanna see I can make a video for it

      @@KateKrauss I can if many people are struggling with this. This is a very old box so I didn't realize that many people still are going back to it. If everyone wants to see the examples I can do that

    • @stuffy24
      @stuffy24  Год назад

      @@Boolap1337 I appreciate the feedback, I didn't think they were difficult enough to need done on here. The biggest thing I take into consideration when skipping like that is what can be cut out to make the video not 2 hours lol because that's what would happen but I could go back and make a separate video covering the examples

  • @Don-kl4so
    @Don-kl4so 8 месяцев назад

    You're not really going through them thoroughly. You're kinda just skimming over and giving answers. That's not really learning. I get we can pause it and read it ourselves. But I was hoping you would explain the parts of the reading I didnt understand. You didn't. You just go to the task. Give the answers and on to the next task. 😅 This is just MY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. You don't have to reply or even change anything if you don't want. I was just saying. Walk throughs should be explainations. Not just cheat sheets. Good video though.
