      They came to avoid the stressful lifestyle of their previous countries. They found easy lifestyle here. The Philippines to them is the most convenience escape given the quality of life they are enjoying now. They did not come here to primarily for Philippines patriotism. To be honest, I would do the same just like what these two smart young men have been doing.

      You will live like a king at US$2K/month in the Philippines, especially in the province. Just do not spend everything. 10-20% savings is first and foremost before everything else.

    • @james21ap1
      @james21ap1 8 месяцев назад

      Really depends on your lifestyle and if you go eat out or not but $1k is sufficient in the provence by your self. Of course, if you have a wife/girlfriend, it's going to be a lot more.

      @@IBCCEvelyn at $2,000 live like a king, no way! More like $3k to 4k ... I know because I'm living in the Philippines, no rent or mortgage because I own my beach house, one car payment, one helper only at this time because I'm 65 years old living alone with 5 dogs... I do my groceries in S&R, and 3xa week do my marketing in wet market in town.
