My wife and I stayed there on the 9th and 10th on our way back from New Hampshire to South Carolina. Spot 3 was a very nice level paved spot with great water pressure. The park is very quiet and offered good access to northern New Jersey. I highly recommend the Reservation.
Booked Mahlon Dickerson for a two night stay on our way back fromJersey shore in May (we live in upstate NY and was planing a scenic ride home) and was looking for a video to see what it was like and was pleasantly surprised to see you ERV had done one. I subscribe to your channel and think you have good content and reviews. After watching I am very much looking forward to spending a couple of nights there with my Husband. Thanks for the videos!
Sounds like a really nice park. I love the no smoking. Best rule of the day. lol. Very cool with the dog parks being so close by. Ok this place is now high up on my list. County parks are many times some of the best parks. Yes we found prices to be pretty high. So this is very fair on the price. When we come back and finish our Northeast trip we will have to check this place out. Thanks for the share.
This campground is beautiful. Looks peaceful. All of those trees, the green space, the room you have in your spot and the wildlife. That's what camping is all about! Another great campground review. We always look forward to your video's. Can't wait for the next one!❤ Stay Safe you guy's! Mary
Wow, I think that’s a great price, wish I would have known that I could have saved myself a lot of money. The resort we are staying at is very pricey. Looks Awesome have fun !!
Found your channel last week. Love Mahlon Dickerson. We live in Byram which isn’t far. Takes a whole 20 minutes to get there. Really enjoying your channel. Keep up the good stuff! Gary and Deb
Thank you both so much for this video on a park in New Jersey. It like really beautiful. It looks good to go there and relax and be with your family and or dogs. Love dogs. I have one so that park works for me. Thank you again on information on how to look up parks too. And make reservations. Good idea! Have a great day and stay safe. Sherri
Looks like a beautiful spot to camp. The price surprised me at how low the cost is. Really enjoy your videos. I've learned a lot from your DIY videos and enjoyed looking at your RV plus the others you look at. Thanks again for a great video!
This is my backyard! You let the secret out! Great hiking! and yes it IS BEAR country! We have a good population of bears but as long as you keep food secured they are just curious!
New Jersey has bears? I can picture it now. The Dude on the bike getting chased by a freaking bear into a shake that has a tent that would be epic. Please film that please. All joking aside that place looks really cool a lot nicer then our state parks well the beach front ones. WOW the price is GREAT. We are paying for dry camping sate park $40 night with water and electric beach front $65 a night. I want to camp there!
You could totally make it to the Delaware water Gap for a day trip from there. I would also highly recommend spending the weekend in Warwick, New York. Drive-in movies, the best ice cream in the country at the Belleville creamery, vineyards, Appalachian trail, apple orchards and the cutest little town with Cafe dolce. Definitely want to check out the shops like style council. If you enjoy boating you might want to head down to the Marina's a Greenwood lake. While down in Greenwood lake New York you're going to want to stop at the cutest little farm stand at the Greenwood lake Garden Center. I live in Warwick and can't seem to get bored of the area. Jefferson is only about an hour away.
Hugs would be nice 😘 I don’t travel without at least one pistol. It’s bad enough that I’d have to have it unloaded and out of reach. If I spend a night them I’m not passing through, in NJ subject to 3 years in the pen. Not worth that!
@@EndlessRVing checking out Google Maps if you are traveling on 287 through the State it looks like it would be 30 minutes to get off of 287, get on I-80 to the campground. Nice to know it is there if we need something coming through that area. Stay safe!
I lived in the area my entire life and I've only seen two bears. They're definitely are more at campgrounds because of the garbage and the food but they are fairly elusive creatures.
I guess I’ll never see this gem since New Jersey doesn’t allow me to bring a gun. You, as a police officer, can protect yourself and family, but not me. 🤬

Very cool! It seems like it's close to cities but with a real camping experience.

Tons of bears! Yep fantastic price and of course yours is more pricey. It’s Cali. Only state worse than ours. 🤣 - MJ
Did you ever go to Kymers Campground in Branchville, NJ.
We have not been there but heard of it.
Izzy
How do you get to new york city from this campground? I am planning a new york city trip with family on a budget

Yep not too far.

Yes
@@EndlessRVing Well hi there NJ neighbor - we are in South Jersey.
@@cargoon-cargoconversionbui2880 cool. 👋
How far from 287 is it? It looks like a nice campground.

@@EndlessRVing again great to know. We travel through the area often heading to New England. Also its an excellent choice for visits to Manhattan.
No fires? How am I going to make my s'mores?
Haha! On the stove. Lol - MJ
You lost me when you said no fire rings in the rv section. I think the pricing is cheap.
For $27 a night we love it. Thanks for watching David
Izzy
if you stay 3-4 days whats the chance off seeing a bear
Donald Smith can’t predict that really lol. We see bears by our home regularly.
Thanks for watching.
