- Here is George performing "I Remember You" on Symphonica. This is actually the exact performance included on the Symphonica album so it makes for a very nice listening experience. Although, Symphonica is not the most popular era, this performance is fantastic. This is a mix I made of multiple angles so as always, thanks to the people who recorded and posted these to RUclips.
I play this song at my son and husband's grave a few times a week because they shared my soul and I am fractured being without them.❤❤😊😊

😪 This song is very personal to me. Not only this beautiful angles voice & words (not to put them short at all) But George was singing this not only from his heart but his soul. And at the end, when he pointed to the audience as he sang the last words, my soul felt them to be sincere, & gives me chills! It’s a shame that most fans won’t even give this performance a chance because it’s Symphonica :(
@@wham I know, Faith is my favorite album, but definitely the next ones deserved more recognition. His voice was perfect for this songs.
@@wham I'm 68 & love this so much ! I just wish the audience would have had a little respect, so you could actually hear him sing ! Was that George shushing them ? If so, good for him ! I also love Brother, can you spare a dime? The best version is with Pavarotti & friends ! Magnificent ! Feeling Good is awesome, too !
Yes, George often tried to shush the crowd during songs like this. The message never seemed to get through to some people though. I noticed that in this album recording, you can actually hear the voice of one of people recording this video.
@@wham I get that people must have been so excited to be there & hear him in person, but when he asks you to be quiet, you should respect him enough to listen ! There are songs they could make noise, through, however, this was not one of them ! How rude !

This was a few weeks before he had pneumonia. I remember I was away on holiday so couldn’t make those shows. He did cancel one night before this show I believe as he was already beginning to feel unwell. I was lucky to go to the rescheduled Albert hall show in 2012. This was also the very last song he ever sang live on the 17 October 2012 in Earl’s Court.
Very lucky that you got to see him live, these symphonica videos are the closest I feel to the feeling for seeing him because the quality is so good on a lot of these clips.
