At the location on 3:15, on the lake with the little boat and cave, the water is actually an acid farm. You can place an acid extractor in it. Acid is necessary for gun powder, good for bullets.
also just in the next pond to the west 3 brahmin spawn there ez ribeye steaks.

Hopefully you liked one of these! They're all on the sunrise side as well, so if you are at your camp in the morning you can watch the sun rise over the hills. It's really awesome honestly!

Even today this is still a good guide when looking for a new camp location. I had one near Helvetia but the game keeps spawning me into the cliff when I fast travel back so I'm looking for new locations that meet these exact criteria. Thanks!

The third
camp location is really popular cause of the lake and view but what most people fail to see is ....there is another huge bonus to it. There's an acid source at the bottom of the lake... so ye, it is an amazing one...

dude gave away my base area, and I was proud of having my base not picked up for 3 weeks straight now I got to jump servers a few times to get my house in every day

In NW corner of map near Marigold Pavillion and directly east of Pleasant Pointe is a sweet spot with a small pond that you can place a camp on either side. You get dogs occasionally attacking, but nothing other than that.
i built mine near the edge of the river running from flatwoods since preserved instamash and water is always a good combo
My camp is propably located at the best place in the game(the are shown in this video). Brahmin, aluminum ore, bloodleaf, blackberries, water, vendor, junk mine and acid close by. The negative thing is that often enemies attack my camp and often it's already occupied when I log in to server. Any better place you can think of?
I keep trying to move my camp but it puts a little padlock icon over the building part of my camp
Since you didn't expose my spot you got a like a sub ;) I found a great spot with a natural ravine being the only access. Soooo easy to defend and a junk pile to extract from to boot.
If you want to kep that spot a secret, you might want to edit out what type of extractor you have running. Resource maps are plentiful.

Just moved to one of these spots. I WAS FLOORED WHEN I FOUND A ACID NOD AT ONE OF THEM THAT WAS NOT TALKED ABOUT. WATER AND ACID LOVE IT!!!

The small water purifier is more than enough. Focus on camps with resource nodes. I built my camp with a junk pile on it. It's amazing.

Thanks bro. Ive been too scared to move my camp at all because i was in a good spot but got tired of the lack of a view. If i didnt watch this, i never would have moved, and never would have learned about blueprints! I feel so free now!

How did you build this stairs?
I just built them up from a foundation and saved it as a blueprint as I went from location to location. Just dropped the blueprint down at each spot. I have another video on building a spiral staircase using the other type of stairs, the ones with the built in platform, if that is what you're asking: ruclips.net/video/M1IDmWI2e6U/видео.html
The cave place is awesome I gave 4 water purifiers and 6 turrets +a mini farm
Also apparently that location is an acid farm so you can farm waste acid in the water, I didn't know that when I recorded the video.
I'm confused. If somebody already has their camp right there and you spawn in and your camp doesn't despawn so does that mean both camps will be put together and look stupid? 🤔
It always despawns yours. Or you mean with the update? The update will ask you if you would like to despawn yours or look for another world.

No. The second person to log in will have their camp placed in storage... at least, anything on a floor. Things placed directly on the ground will just be gone. At least until the next patch.
You must have camp with one metal ore, like copper, nuclear one ect. Farming and loots of clean water. You have view.

You forgot to mention that a level 76 yaogui spawns at the first base haha happened to me and I kept bloody dying as I’m only 40 rn 😢😂
This video is from over a year ago. They've revamped the map significantly since then. A lot of these spots have new enemy spawns on them.
It's kind of sad since I logged back in a few weeks ago and was also mauled by some new monster that destroyed my whole base.
EvilDoUsHarm haha I know, I really wanted to build there and I thought it would be fine but after half an hour of building I’d find myself dead on the ground and a glowing yaogui over my corpse 😂
@@EvilDoUsHarmdo you think you can remake a new video like this? like nice mountain camps near bodies of water, some yes have changed since this video was made like the waterfall area you suggested now has a camp of enemies that spawn near it.
did you check anywhere else on the map cus all your suggestions are in the same area lol

Ha! You didn't find my camp area! I build out on water and I already tried all those locations. Still not to satisfy though, I ws hoping to find deeper waters.
No one mentions the concrete and water area near the top of the world. There’s a junk pile that’s just out of reach too

You can deal with the Schorched by having your second floor be all metal grating with turrets, and a low barrier wall right in front of your staircase, with a punjee board if you feel like it.
I want a place thats in the mountains and has a steel deposit spawn for resource collectors.
I'll be looking for ones with water and resources next!

I just noticed in your video you keep referencing a body of water in relation to water purifiers and Wanda make sure you understood that you do not need a body of water just need dirt

The third is crap. I cant build anything in the cave and the trees hevily limit you if you want to build on the rock.
You can remove the trees by putting stuff on them... its a great spot i used it for the last 3 weeks. Theres acid in the water too.
