this is absolutely gorgeous and I love that you added the lemon... perfect and fresh for spring. You have the best eye when it comes to colour and presentation. Love this.

The heart shaped template is on Patreon as a Patron-exclusive download (linked in the description). But, you can just print any heart large enough to fit your pan. If it doesn't fit one page, just print it on two and piece them together.
Apple or Apricot jelly are typically used for glazing fresh fruit because they are essentially clear. You can use whatever type of jelly you want... just keep in mind that strawberry will tint the fruit or anything else it touches. Sounds like it would be delicious though!
I used Meyer lemons which skins are much more orangey colored than a regular lemon... I don't usually have Meyer lemons but they were on sale and are really good in baking... Funny story- my husband actually confused them for oranges. I walked into the kitchen, he had peeled one and was eating a segment!! He told me "wow, these oranges sure are tart and acidic!". I had a good laugh at that! This recipe works just find with regular lemons though :)
