@@shanks0307 I don't recall maps ever being that difficult to locate. They were fairly easy in base game. Only 2 are hard to get in dlc so it's not a bad thing.
I need a map so I can see where I am... The game: To get one of the map, you need to go pass a dungeon, pass a castle, pass the villages, guess which one is the fake wall, find and sleep on a coffin, fight some dudes, go past several places with title cards, go through the poison swamps, run across 3 hills and cliffs, guess and find the correct cave hole to pass the underground, go through a 40 ~50 floors catacomb, fight field bosses, run the whole wood place by foot, fight some rats.....and CHEERS! You get the 1/5 of map piece
It's just a skill issue man, I mean granted I have been playing on the DLC for 17 hours and still didn't find it and had to look it up, but it's a skill issue.
I cannot tell you how many times I got killed by the flame guardian and aim bot golem just to learn that I was on the wrong side of the map to even get to the damned map part
Needed this. So easily overlooked and people are like “just explore” like bro I hella forgot to about the cave I saw 10 hours ago my bad. And #5; I went down there and didn’t see the messages for hidden wall so I would’ve been screwed. THANK YOU
People be like “JuSt eXplOrE” as if the average casual wouldn’t be stuck seeing nothing but cliffs and long falls if they tried to go into those areas. Its stuff like this that makes me not ashamed to look for a guide to better my experience.
I tried “just exploring” and beat the game thinking I got everything until I realized I was still missing half the map. Looked up a couple videos and realized I missed 90% of the DLC content by “just exploring”
Bro the Abys east had me in shambles trying to get to it lol. That was one hell of a journey. I absolutely love this map though. Think i'll be spending most of my time in the dlc from here on out.

Its massive. Bigger than you think. Like they shoved. America. Canada and Mexico into India. This place makes my head spin. Thank God I'm nearly done
The traversing of the land is a bit frustrating lol, I find myself backtracking more than I am progressing. It's definitely fun but prefer the original map design a bit more
Land of Shadow is roughly the size of Limgrave, Caelid, and a decent chunk of the Liurnia of the Lakes combined. Who the fuck say that DLC’s map is just same size as Limgrave? ☠️

Nice video Bro... But FS really screwed up this Map location quest.... it was hard enough getting the Maps in the Base Game...Now, they are literally messing with our intelligence and PATIENCE.... Why do we have to scale/platform the side of a mountain... go through a Pitch Black Catacomb filled with deadly enemies.... take 4 elevators down that are on opposite sides of the Catacomb....Really absurd if u ask me!!!!!
