I have been loving this leauge my prayers where answered melee is back. The league mechanic is amazing the general vibe from everyone that I have seen and talked to have been great. Leauge start was rough then I got a pair of Ralakesh;s Impatience from a pack of white mobs. Life is good right now.
I've checked both Lacerate and SST builds you posted. How do those 2 compare in terms of mapping and bossing (Your assessment was pretty much the same). Is it a gameplay diff? if so, what's the main diff? I'm still leveling so I'm not so sure what I should be using for when I get to maps.
Lacerate feels a bit clunkier imo. SST is definitely a smoother playstyle but I think the single target should be a bit worse than lacerate (of hemorrhaging). Notably my experience is from playing lacerate last league, and they have changed a lot so ymmv.
I kept playing 2H weapon with Sunder and melted bosses in seconds. I am on act 10 and it feels smooth, barely dying so no way I am switching to axe and shield for now
I'm following your archmage build and in your pob I can't trigger kitava helmet. Notes saying to use frostblink but it isn't triggering also. Only chance to trigger it that i found is to swap last ascendancy to the one wich buffs arcane surge and doesn't reduce mana cost, this way it triggers, but i lose giant bunch of ES, and still doesn't feels right, since it wasn't the way you meant it in pob.
@@VaalerianG lacerate does fine. But tbh you could try 6l Eviscerate and 4l shield throw but you would need an actual weapon and not just a stat-stick in that case(jack the axe should be fine early)
How does he have pride and vitality at the same time while he have eternal blessing linked to pride? i see that he swap the location of vitality to link to something else, but I did that and still doesn't work! i can only have one aura enabled while I have eternal blessing linked to an aura
@@othmanalmesbah5257 no that wouldn't work you should use the blood magic node on the skill tree, then you can have both and the one linked to eternal blessing will count as blessing so it doesn't cost life haha
It is still a fine leveling item for SST. The hit damage is still meaningful while in the campaign, and the proj speed and movement speed are quite nice. It’s not amazing but it’s still pretty good.

GGG still can't fix the game for some players and have never gotten in yet on the 3rd day. Really messed up. Can't even try this build. Heck can't even get into Standard.

Legit best league start I’ve had man. Hit BA and was level 48.
Lol im not even using bleed and im still using eviserate and it still is doing alot of bleee.
@@alexandermaunsell9282 Retaliations skills are sick, I use Eviscerate supported by brutality and melee phys and it's sick damage every 2 seconds xD

This was my first league start, there's definitely a learning curve but I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected to.

I can also confirm that lacerate feels clunky with the lower attack speed it has now. I switched over to earthquake.

I have got a question I have followed you lacerate build. You use a reaper axe but put perks into two handed weapons. Why is this?
You are supposed to use 2H weapons until merc lab and switch then. The pob also has that switch.

I mean login queue was slow but i didn't crash once. So considering that it was the best league start ever.

was wondering the same thing. Maybe som passive or other gear converts avaison or chance to block to melee damage. idk.
Spectral Shield Throw gains its damage from the armour and evasion of your equipped shield. That's how the skill works.

I didnt watch the video but you can use hp reserve instead I think it's called arrogance or something
Eternal blessing only disables stuff that reserves mana and thanks to blood magic, we reserve life.

No. Not really. The bleed damage is what matters and projectile damage doesn't increase the bleed.
Karui ward is a great leveling item, but not for this build
It is still a fine leveling item for SST. The hit damage is still meaningful while in the campaign, and the proj speed and movement speed are quite nice. It’s not amazing but it’s still pretty good.
