Honestly surprised that I'm still getting comments on this video. Its cool that a lot of you have nostalgia of the game. I didn't play it until I tried speed running it, but loved the movies. I'll answer some questions and stuff while I'm here. This was played on an xbox 360 slim. To get ng+ just beat the story and then select the first mission to go through it again. Even without all the stuff unlocked you can get by with basically just the belly flop move. I'm likely never going to run this game again mostly because the only reason I ran it in the first place was because I had just watched a GDQ and thought it would be fun to get a WR in game. Anyways since I won't make anything else with this game I'll note some stuff incase anyone else wanted to run it. The reason to run ng + is to be able to skip like 45 minutes of cutscenes. This video is from like my 4th attempt, so it is probably pretty easy to beat this time. Can easily improve time with better movement and finding the optimal combo to use. If you jump far enough to the right at 1:02 you can skip the pop up from Po's dad and just start rolling. At 5:01 the reason I pop that one balloon is because if you don't then you can't grab the ledge from my experience. At 36:31 you can see my attempt to jump that bridge. That saves some time if you get it first try. I don't know if I ever got it on video, but you can jump on top of the tree branches instead of swinging and that's faster, but it seems a little inconsistent. That's all I can remember as this was more than 2 years ago and I haven't touched the game since. If I remember anything else I'll add another comment.
Another thing you can do is try to level up the chi near the end to beat tai lung with panda roll very quickly I ended up beating the entire fight in 4 mintues by panda roll and then 3 y hit combo every time
When I was a kid this used to be my favourite game. I could only play on the computer for one hour and I didn't know how to save my progress. I tried my best to finish the game as fast as possible just to see the ending. One time I actually managed to finish the game. I'm pretty sure I held some kind of record at the time :DD
Wow, I didn't know that this game was out on a platform other than ps2, it's even sad to compare the difference in graphics, I was very nostalgic for this game because I remembered having fun with it, today I see that it wasn't even a great game but there are a space in my child's heart.
I found a major glitch to send urself to the end at 5:32 u pick up the vase as u get hit by the hand and thet sent me to the end bit to where I need to make the rocket chair
Wow, this looks like a 100% professional speedrun :D. For me suprisingly, as not a lot of people are trying to beat this game as fast as possible.... Great run (but tbh, what can I know about it, you know it by yourself :d).
Thanks. I'm glad it looks professional since this was only my 5th attempt at NG+. As for knowing how to do the speedrun there aren't any real glitches. It is mostly just trying to find the most efficient ways of going through the level with minimum requirements and a few ledge grabs. I can try to put out a video with commentary to explain how/why I use certain technique in game if you would like though.

Harleydoes I'm just playing on a standard Xbox 360 slim. I haven't tried it on another 360 to see if there was a difference, but I can. Also I ran out of memory on that 360, so my save file is on a flash-drive maybe that has something to do with it.
Harleydoes I think that there is still enough time to be saved that even with slower loading you could beat this time. This run is still from when I was still learning the game so there has to be some solid time saves. Most would come from efficient combat and movement. Hopefully I can get back to running this game soon.

You are only able to skip cutscenes on an already completed file. That's why this is a ng+ speedrun.
