The battle was good in my opinion. Honestly made sense of what I'd expect Tinkatink was gonna end up with regarding her. It's a bit odd though considering Dot's tactful mind that she didn't use Low Kick move More against Larry's Normal types (although it was used once on Staraptor; but too bad it wasn't in Normal Tera time). And I'm so Glad the show kept from the Games to the Anime Ep, Larry's Signature Move: FACADE!!!!! So signature it shattered Dot's Tera & KO'd instantly!!!
Larry was kinda being a dick. In most gym battles only the challenger is allowed to substitute pokemon. I think Tink could have pulled a win off Dundsparce. Quaxwell there was no way he was going to beat Starpator. Regardless Tink learning brutal swing and Qauxly evolving is great growth for Dot. I really hope that they do the two last remaining Gyms Kobu and Tulip the secondary pokemon could benefit for the extra training.
@@kevinwilson3452 I mean to be fair it's not like the Tera Training course are Official Gym Battles; so they don't entirely follow the same rules as before. And they sorta talked about this in a way when explaining the Implementation portion testing when it comes to the further testing battles
I feel you! The tera battles are always short lived plus to me it feels like they're Afraid to make the Gym Leaders lose to the kids (maybe because they haven't have much experience) but still I really thought Quaxwell would at least take down One pokemon in this episode (plus the paralysis only came on after she terrastalized which is the definition of bad timing 😭)
I guess they weren't technically afraid with doing it to Brassius in Round 2 though for it to happen. And I can sorta see why Dot couldn't beat any of Larry's as it was essentially Quaxly against 2 Evolved Pokemon (esp. since Dot never used her Fighting type attack effectively at opportune chances against Larry; she did once on Staraptor, but before Tera). And Quaxly tried to shake off the paralysis the best he could during Tinkatink's battle, and was successful as it didn't affect him at all throughout battling Staraptor; until it resurged back after his big Tera move (which might have likely been the cause of it to resurface as he used a lot of its energy to cause it to swell back up)

Well Roy so far is the only one who beat a gym leader
