Agneepath - A Poem by Shri Harivansh R Bachchan , father of Shri Amitabh Bachchan. Great massage delivered thru this poem. Movie was based on that philosophy. Life is a path of Fire .. called Agneepath. You get challenges at every step. It gives a clear massage ....... Do not ever expect to be in the comfort zone. Keep struggling till your last breath. Hard times will come in life so grow yourself good enough to withstand all of them. This poem is a real inspiration for all.
Agneepath is a poem writtem by late Harivansh Rai Bacchan, Amitabh Bacchan's father, you can see Hrithik Roshan reciting that poem while tying the rope on Sanjay Dutt's head.
"Agneepath" means a path of fire. And I think that's the reason they show that scene him (Amitabh) walking across the fire, a symbolic statement. If you want to do something good, if the challenge seems insurmountable, you have to cross the Agneepath. He is seem reciting the poem Agneepath. Its a poem written by Amitabh's real life father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
Appreciate the indepth research you do, Amitab Bachan's father was a renowned poet, and his creation agneepath poem was one of the best. Amitabh Bachan is aslo known as the Big B. He truly is a legend.
@michael corl3one lol funny joke. Made me laugh. most of the general public really liked his performance. And it was strong. Don't make a Joke of yourself.
@michael corl3one 🤣🤣🤣🤣 go and have a checkup You dont know What acting means Or what acting is Hrithik Was Extremely Outstanding as vijay And according to you if he was shit why did he got a nomination in filmfare??
@michael corl3one and also tell me that why did he got best actor award shardust??? First go and have some research on acting what acting is how it is done if you think that Hrithik was bad in agneepath as vijay then im sure that you must be loving the acting of arjun kapoor isn't it?
༺ мαηαѕн ༻ you're ignorant... amitabh made him cry cuz he is probably his big Fan like me ...also he is the most classiest and versatile and his presenence alone overshadows any other actor in films ,also awarded the Actor of the Millenium ...love this channel cuz the Guys in video seem american . When u mostly only see Asians/ Persian or british ppl talking about Bollywood
You know, mainly they changed tha main character of amitabh when they make its remake...Amitabh's character was very raw, fierce, strong and rough, whearas Hrithik's was more of silent, subdued talk less do more kind of character. May be to avoide the direct comparison to Amitabh as it is considered as Amitabh's one best performance of his career, for which he won the Indian President Medal(National Award) for Best Actor.
well... u doing a great job... and i swear u are the most informed white guy on bollywood i have ever seen(sometimes u know more than i do 😉) anyways... i strongly believe u deserve more subscribers...!GodBless.
Damn ...Intense as hell fire ...reminded me the time when I was watching the newer version in a theatre and it was pin drop silence .....both Amitabh and Hrithik known for the intensity they come with onscreen ...
Well the fact that you do some research along with your reactions is great. Indeed, agneepath was a poem written by father of Amitabh Bacchhan, shri Hariwanshrai Bachhan. He is regarded as a great poet in Hindi Litterature.
Veer Trivedi it's fucking shit. Bollywood can't do a decent film., because all their revenue comes from songs and promotions. But i have to say bollywood in 80s and 90s was much better than nowdays porn they are showing. Old bollywood movies are much better. But India just copies off everyone! Songs from Pakistani artists and scripts and stories from Hollywood. In fact the bollywood film industry was started in Lahore by someone called Mr Kardar who was also from Lahore. Then after 1947 they shifted the film industry to Bombay. Yash Chopra comes from Lahore. Pran comes from Lahore. Raj kapoor comes from Peshawar. Anil Kapoor family also come from Peshawar. Shahrukh Khan dad and mum come from Pindi/Peshawar. Hrithik Roshan grandfather comes from Faisalabad. Dilip Kumar comes from Peshawar. I can go and on on....... Infact the very first "talkie" to be made in India was fighting a legal battle in court. Guess who won that case? And paved the way for more people Movies to be made? The Quaid e Azam himself. Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The actual founder of Pakistan. Indians have been lying alot for past 70 years. They have sly been passing other people history and culture as their own. But, alas the truth is creeping out now....
Adi dude don't be such a jealous lil piggy mate. All the places and people you named belonged to one country as there was no partition at that time. They were all Hindustani as in Indians, including your ancestors my friend. When idiots like Jinnah came up broke up the country, that's when the negativity started. Respect Humans not Borders.
Adi adi What's even the point of bringing your own hate to blame the movies. Liking a movie is purely opinionated. You like 80s films, cool. We like newer films. You like red paint, we would rather have cgi. There is nothing more than opinion. Both the stories are equally engaging. Stop lowering the dignity of your country. As for your other talk about lying, sir, we have hoards of books, letters, records which prove the things which are written in the history books. Sure, it is dumbed down and a little part is left in school studies but if you or anyone else cares to take history in college then you can get all the correct info. Just FYI, it is the same for every country. British students don't know about the misery they caused,Pakistani don't know about the misery they caused, Americans don't remember it either. But it is only upto school students. That's it. And srsly, what's about this passing down other people's culture? Sorry my friend, hindu culture is way older than any other cultures. How exactly am I supposed to cheat from your paper, if i already finished before you started? Stop spreading gate and coming out as an annoying troll, wasting other people's time and jerking to your own self with that ego of yours.
Good reaction guys..this movie totally taught us that revenge never become sweet.. Its a destruction.. To the people that we love, family, to us and people surround us.. It's happen in reality and to the people among us..
Guys try to know these lines said by both actors..It's really great and written by Harivansh Bachchan Big B's dad..He was a great poet and Big B is also a great writer.. For us Big B is a legend..Coz he knows how to deliver dialogue and have a very good cinematic knowledge
hey loved ur review both movies are great the young generation likes more agneepath 2 but frankly saying agneepath 1 is a leagendary movie i wish you guys had subtitles because the things wat make agneepath 1 legendary are its dialouges and more than that delivery of those intense dialouges by Mr Amitabh bachan. He had received national award for them.
thank you guys for uploading as many as possible for a week. u guys r the only one stayed on action scenes more.Hope u guys like Indian version of action choreography and cinematography
Check also the brilliant Amitabh Bachchan death scene from Sholay (1975) (The Embers/The Flames). You guys also check Sholay (1975) Amit uncle's death scene
But the poem guys. The *p o e m.* Hrithik's version still fucks me up to this day. I would say that Amitabh's post-fight scene is a bit more touching, even when up against vision of murdered father + younger, happier version of self. But the fight itself? And the rendition of the poem? No comparison. You can *feel* the struggle. All the blood shed and lives lost to reach this point. (I might be saying this bc I watched only the newer one in its entirety lol) The movie itself is basically emotional torture, but seeing this again almost makes me want to re-watch, if only for the feeling of satisfaction/relief/victory/triumph/vindication/exhaustion and so many other emotions I felt at the ending. So many. Maybe I'll wait until it isn't one in the morning and I'm not an emotional mess. I both hate and love this movie. Like I'd shake its hand and give it a brief hug before pushing it off a cliff so I never have to see it again. Might I suggest that you react to a scene from "Dacait"? If I'm correct that movie was what defined dacoit for me. Literally lol. This was before I made full use of Google and had little idea what the word meant when it showed up in subs and now whenever I see it vague memories of this movie comes up. It was so messy lmao.
Guys in hrithik Roshan agneepath hrithik was shot before the scene which they reviewed .The shot on his body was the place where sanjay dutt hit on which these guys thought as it was near his balls it is the reason why it killed him
here mohanlal plays the character of an young man who potrays young man's agony and pain . thilakan the father plays the character of a lovable dad who wants sethu to become a police officer.. But he is a strict officer though.. So after this killing scene he complete the case of sethumadavan his son by stamping him as a notorious criminal.. And not qualified for police job which sethumadavan had already passed upto the interview level..
Another thing I would like to know from you Steve. Like you see in these climax scenes of Agneepath, Indian movies tend to dramatize the death of a Hero to an extent which a lot of western audience find over-dramatic. We Indians generally love to be extremely emotional, in our movie experiences, so these kind of treatment work for us.. But do you also feel, a death of hero would work better, if shown in totally realistic manner and not dramatized?
Honestly, it depends on the project. A heavily-dramatized death scene is only over-dramatic if it doesn't fit the tone of that part of the film, and it can feel like the moment wasn't earned. Similarly, when an undramatic death scene is misplaced, it can feel like important characters are being casually thrown away, which sometimes seems insulting to the audience.
u guys should invite the surfing violinist youtber. He is amazing and he also has deep knowledge of Bollywood. He has even worked in one of the famous Bollywood movie recently! It will be amazing if you invite him.
U guys are awesome ; Steve, great job. I am still waiting for your Magadheera 1 vs 100 fight scene, I know this is special for you. So, before that you can watch the horse chase/fight scene, also a great one.
Guys love u for Agneepath Big B climax scene. Its Big b classic. No one comes close to him in death scene.Though hrithik is good actor. But no comparison to Big B.He is rated as biggest star of millenium.

Both Agneepath are seriously tragic. It's like evil triumphs all the way till just minutes before the end.
Hrithik's was fkin amazing wht r u talkin about???
"Agneepath" means a path of fire. And I think that's the reason they show that scene him

I feel very emotional when I watch this movie

Agneepath means a path full of fire. Agnee means Fire, path is path
