  • In this video, our volunteer Fabio Malaspina shows you how to tie a "Psycho Prince Nymph" fly. It is an attractor fly that doesn’t represent any insect. This is a wet fly that you can use to target steelhead, trout, carp and panfish. Fish it in conjunction with another nymph or egg pattern (steelhead) under an indicator.
    Materials list:
Thread: Size 70 or 140 UTC tan
Hook: 2X long nymph straight hook. I used a Tiemco 3761 size 12
    Bead: Gold 5/32”
    Tails: Brown goose biots
Ribbing: Gold or copper ultra-wire size small
    Shellback: Pheasant or turkey fibers
    Body: Gold/orange ice dub
    Side wings: White goose biots
    Winglet: Yellow antron
Collar: Black, purple, or peacock ice dub
    Skill level: intermediate
