Great video! On my way to bed but gonna throw this up on the screen when I hit the lab tomorrow again. I've been starving for a good boxing game for years. Then Tekken 8 showed up and Steve waved at me. All aboard the Steve train! Holy crap he's fun and feels so good to play. I love that 3 and 4 are sways. Went into ranked tonight with the goal of countering each opponent once per round, win or lose who cares. Punishing is finally starting to sink in too

Great guide! Im currently learning steve (shinryu atm). Im wondering if you can tell me what the inputs for his generic wall combo are? I cant seem to figure it out in practice mode. Ive seen people use a two hit string that wall splats, and then the rapid fire machine gun punches? Can you help! Thank you
Sure bro So the the two hit string that wall splats should be 2,2 (Triangle,Triangle) - Followed by 2,1 hold b into f3,1+2,1+2,1+2,1+2 for the machine gun punches
what are some strategies to bait your opponents to press into your B1? I've been exploring steve but i'm still not exactly sure how to bait my opponents to press into B1 except for + on block frames(which they never do) and just reading ur opponent's timing
try doing some of the longer strings and test their patience. sometimes you can end the string early and they'll get antsy and press too late. but mostly it is about timing, flowcharting + frames is too predictable so just play with timing and mind games
Lion heart stance is pure garbage specially on block and if you have rage you can basically beat all options even if your -7 joke of a stance can't even cancel that shit safely
You can cancel with f3 wildman And it loses to fast power crushes. You can sway to beat other options as well It's not great but it's not garbage either imo
@@GamerNemy yeah its a great mixup for the opponent not for you if you guees wrong he gets the reward and you die if you guess right you get to live never mind the reward unless you do the launcher that can be beat by jabs and power armors all u get is the homing mid 😉.
