- Welcome to another video and today @kANGaming @DapperEcho and I play another epic game of hide and seek in the big city of Motor Town! We each take turns pretending to be an NPC but can we do it well enough to trick each other? Here's a cool idea: You may lie once per round as a hider. It would create a crazy metagame. First question, are you in a 4 door car? Second question, are you in a 2 door car? Both answers yes. In the third round it could have helped Kosmo get away but then he could no longer lie for the rest of the round. Also, in the third round he could told the truth but Dapper could have assumed you were lying and you could play the reverse psychology game.
"You can lie, but then take a 1 or 2 minute penalty on your own seeking time."
This would influence the final score even outside your own round.

Should make a version where hiders must complete tasks such as deliver pizza, every completed task adds time to the seeker
Hardcore mode on this game would be at night and the hiders would not know the vehicle the seeker is in.
Like if u don't know what the seeker is driving would be like: is he watching me rn? is that him? did he saw what i did wrong? aM i gOinG iNSanE??!?!?!? 😂
28:21 I think your truck technically has 4 doors, if it’s the same as my pickup it has 2 rear suicide doors. It’s halfway between a standard cab and a crew cab

I think what you can do is a rule that if you park, you have to stay parked. Or maybe you have to stay parked for 5 minutes or something. Or if that is still too hard, you have to tell them you are parked.
Agree, there should be a timeout for things like "parked/moving" or "north/south/east/west part of town"

The nice thing about Scrap Mechanic hide and seek is the hiders keep their HUD on and can at least follow the seeker. I think if someone commits to hiding only they should be allowed to keep the HUD. (Maybe if they want to move they need to have their HUD closed for 30 seconds or maybe say that they left a hiding spot after 10 seconds.)
the reason is that they could just drive to the furthest place from them and evade the seeker rather than blend in. in other words it doesn't promote good sportsmanship. regardless, it is fun to watch.
14:08 For those that don't know, that car with the masked robber icon (or whatever you call it lol) is a $10,000 job! All ya gotta do is drive that car to where they want and don't have the cops on you when you arrive at the destination. These appear randomly on the map. Great video Kosmo, really entertaining and hilarious! :)
Random idea:
Instead of having 2 hiders, there's 1 hider, 1 seeker and a distractor.
The distractor distracts the seeker. For example, by speeding or by blocking the seeker's path, or even by running into the seeker, but not by constantly following the seeker. The distractor can have the hud on and doesn't reveal the vehicle like the seeker does
Another interesting idea to add to it is the distractor can change their vehicle whenever they want so the seeker can never just remember what vehicle their in

And maybe they can swap their car every few minutes, so the seeker can’t memorize their car.
Something that might be interesting to add is a marco polo type mechanic where the seeker says marco and the hiders honk their horn. And maybe have a limit to how my times the seeker can say it or can only say it every few minutes or something like that.
Pretty sure most of those "Crown Vics" are actually Mercury Marauders, the high performance version

if Kosmo had honked at Kan at the start it would have been the fastest find in their hide and seek in this game.

I feel like mopeds would be borderline cheating, since it's so small and u guys could probably just squeeze into a gap somewhere
How about doing it alternate weeks. One week Hide and Seek and other the Hunt. For Hide & Seek, hints can be focused on shortening the area where you could be hiding and for the hunt finding out which vehicle.
One way to prevent the question of if you are being parked becoming invalid. is to make it so that after that question the hiders must stay in that mode of either driving or staying in that spot till found.

I think a distinction needs to be made between a game of "Acting Like and NPC" and a game of hide and seek. Parking your vehicle isn't deception. There's no opportunity to slip up and reveal yourself.
Me and friends back in the day used to play this game in real life, the difference we would meet up at a parking lot so we know what we drove, and the seeker had to sit facing a wall for 5 minutes and then we would find an epic hiding spot, then text hints to the seeker every 3 minutes, and the seeker could ask yes or no questions every 2 minutes. The other thing is our cars where flashy cars, ie nice rims paint jobs, lifted trucks, cars that stood out from the rest. Yalls game play takes me back....

Also Kosmo: chooses a car that cannot spawn because regular cars can’t spawn with police livery and police don’t spawn in the skyline xD
Also I am not a fan of the police livery on that car, but each to his own
AFAIK those cars do spawn with those liveries! I've seen at least one and is the reason I wanted to slap it on as well. If anything it's the blue 100% tint that gives it away LOL. The livery would be more complete if they came with lightbars

unfortunately yes! we have to stay in the vehicles, or so the current rules state.
Is that "Police" livery a stock thing, or a mod? Don't think i ever saw it on that particular car before.
As a side note, the Mini Cooper is on the east side of the map in Seong-San. Ironically, it is currently the fastest car in the game, at least in a straight line. Record top speed is around 320 km/h.

Oh gosh, I feel stupid now, it took me 30 minutes to understand that you guys weren't asking about "Fordor" vehicles, I was thinking it was an in-game brand parody to avoid copyrights/royalties or something like that xD

Not a fan of the parking and hiding -- akin to cheating given the premise of this hunt. And I think this would be better if there were 2x Hunters and 1x Hunted. No one has their HUD on, and each side doesn't know what vehicles the other side is driving. Winning condition is whoever can drive around the longest without being found by the Hunters.
It would result in nerve wracking stakes for the Hunted.
The other positive to adding 5 seconds is, the original idea of waiting 5 seconds after a wrong guess (which they rrely actually did) doesn't exactly make for exciting video footage.
Loved it don't change anything this was a much game. Sry abt the dark but maybe there's a way around that. I don't play the game. I liked your guys other hide and seek on this game but this one felt different and I love it.
Proposed new rule: You can ask the same question again whenever you want (1min cooldown).

I think that as a rule, if you ask if they are parked or not, they're not allowed to swap for four minutes.
u should do something fun and stupid in this like fill the roads with furniture and cause chaos :D

Kosmo's last car did have 4 doors but to open the back doors you need to open the front ones my dad used to have one

An idea you could add to make it less hard, a hider can not sit a spot for no longer than 1 min.

How about this for park vs no park. If you want to park and hide them you need to do it before 5 minutes. Then you can't leave your spot.

the pizza place in the south east side of the main city! You can take off the pizza box in the mechanic shop
could use the auto pilot, it actually turn you in a npc when you use this mode, and take the control in case it want to leave the city, if you dont have nothing marked in your map the auto pilot drive to random places
I like the hiding, just driving around is a bit boring now and then

to solve the parking problem you should do it so when you choose a parking spot you HAVE TO stay there for two minutes or so and you also HAVE TO leave after that time, so after you ask the question you can still look for parked vehicles, and this way the hider would have to change parking spot every now and then. Also guesses should probably be at least 10 secs penalty otherwise you could just blind guess everybody.
I would say once you give an answer to a hint you are now committed that answer. So if you are parked you now have to stay parked.
