I like the real basic clear explanation of the break down of the beats as opposed to other videos don't give good breakdown or examples 🙌 also I'm 99% of time double kicking with my blast lol sounds so good n I'm going for bpms not worried about Gaye keepers saying it's cheating

I've never seen someone alternate on the fingers of the hand playing singles. Did you think about this on your own or did see it somewhere? Have you tried playing one finger alternating for every stroke ? Nice video!

can I use kicks non stop for faster grooves in punk? Like kicking while the snare is hitting cause it's easier than stopping and kicking again I am not sure if people do that at fast speeds cause is hard to see. Thank you! Subbed

Thanks for your question Sanna! Yes. You can dude double pedal for punk grooves for sure. A lot of thrash metal bands use similar tempos and d-beat rhythms as punk drummers but will sneak in tasteful blasts of double pedal. Check out Toxic Narcotic and Municipal Waste. A powerviolence band called Spazz! also did some stuff like that on their later releases
