How good is the APR-24, as a machine? I just realized these exist, and definitely curious!

Can you elaborate and educate some of us a Sony a pr-24
Can you show us the audio Snake coming out of the tape machine and does your snake have XLR ends and if so do you know where would we find such a snake
I have play adios naik that has the six connectors on the back of the tape and two connectors that are totally different at the other end humbly asking if you can show us how you connected to your soundboard

I see signals on only 2 tracks in Protools. Was it already mixed down to stereo? How many channel used for the recording? Sounds great!

The multi-track has 24 channels on the tape and is being mixed through the board. So each analog channel comes out of a distinct output from the tape machine and goes into an input on the board. Tape track 1 goes to fader 1, tape track 2 goes to fader 2, and so on up to 16. The board's stereo mix bus was going out into inputs 1-2 of an Mbox Pro. The tape had 24 tracks of audio, but the board only had 16 inputs, so there are actually some bg vocals missing from the mix. Also -- one of the snakes was half unplugged and only plugged in tracks 9-16 halfway through the video! oops! You can see me plug it in in the video, that's why theres's only drums in the beginning.
