I'll throw a prediction out there: there are two planned Vekoma tilt coasters out there right now, at Cotaland in Austin, TX and at Energylandia in Poland, that may not get built due to financial issues and delays with other projects. Six Flags managed to scoop one of them up (my guess is the Cotaland one) and is installing it at Great Adventure. This would align with the "sometimes you have to look down" teaser as well.
that makes a lot of sense actually wow
good idea
It's all but confirmed that it's intamin coaster
@@F7PRO37REALLY?? Based on what???? That's probably the number one manufacturer I would vote for.
Big brain! You might just be onto something
if the new coaster goes over the entrance it’s probably going to be another no loose articles ride i hope they get double sided lockers this time 😭
Well gadv has been looking into double sided lockers
Correction: SFOG is rumored to receive an Ultra Surf, not Splash, though we’ll see what happens!
Super excited for a new coaster at great adventure. I’m glad Dorney park is getting an original Coaster to.
Wish Dorney good luck because Six Flags is probably going to screw Dorney over 😐😔
@@coasterfair2602 how tho?
@@Cefon2121 they are probably going to build something better then Dorney
Super excited to see what this new coaster addition could be!
It's a mystery.
I’m glad my home park of Great Adventure will have a new coaster as well as Dorney Park
In my opinion, Great Adventure has two gaps in their coaster lineup. They don't have anything that races or duels, and they don't have a launch coaster smaller than Kingda Ka. Intamin has 3 off the shelf layouts posted on their website under the LSM launch coaster, all of which could work for Great Adventure. Also, keep in mind that it's always possible to start with an off the shelf layout and make minor adjustments to it, which would still take less time than starting from scratch.
a giga is what they need a i305 clone
I305 was too intense why would they at all go for that i305 was the reason cedar fair hates intamin and didnt choose them for the dragster reimagining and even if they di they probably would have had to had a new layout created.
no need for an I305 when they already have KK@@NickyD
@@Cefon2121that is such an overblown rumor regarding i305. No evidence
They use to have a dueling coaster years ago
Six flags teased “sometimes you have to look down for the best views”, that coincides with the holding breaks on the top hat of Gotham city escape in Madrid. I think we are getting an intamin multi launch.
a mini VC would shock me
Or a backwards spike
A dive coaster would probably happen according to that
@@hbvsycujebcururyc5961 highly unlikely, since Dorney is getting a dive
Just had the greatest day ever. EVERY ride was a walk on from 11am all the way till 4pm. Never thought i would experience such a thing. I was always used to a minimum 40 minute wait for all the best coasters
Awesome! I wonder where the NJ Transit buses will pull up in the future if the current picnic grove area will potentially be part of the new coaster’s footprint. It may be an odd thing to worry about at such an exciting time, but I rely on that bus for my visits to the park 😂
It would be awesome to have a intimate blitz coaster kinda like Maverick at cedar point! Great video!!!!
I’m thinking that we could see an Intamin Blitz coasters or a shorter Intamin Giga in length. Probably not a record breaker but there is probably a good chance that we could get one of these. Personally I’m leaning towards a Blitz
mini maverick?
@@NickyD What about a Vekoma blitz? Cheaper than Intamin but still a great ride manufacturer. Also why does it need to be “mini”?
My best guess is someone else backed out of a coaster, probably from Intamin or another manufacturer they are working on multiple projects with. Guessing that production of track is already well underway
What if they get 2 dueling super boomerangs to bring back the chiller? I don't see it happening, but it would be an incredible way to bring it back.
Zero-G stall over the entrance I’m calling it now
Thank god it’s confirmed. But it’s kind of scary we almost didn’t get anything, they said that they added it late, and they took an opportunity
It seems like the park didn’t design it, but rather a manufacturer entirely and approached six flags with the idea… 👀
So it has to be a banger
They need a launch coaster that interacts with the entrance of the park
LETSSSS GOOOO I been feening GA the best line ups idk how people don’t like this park ‼️
If we only knew this before Thrillathon 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve been waiting all day for u too cover this. Such exciting news!! If it’s a intamin figure 8 model my mind will be blown 🤯🤯 that would make the park S tier imo
When they say they had an opportunity pop up late for them, I really think that is referring to a manufacturer being able to fit them in. Between the big coaster manufactures they can only manufacture a certain amount of coasters per year, and typically that is planned out much in advance. It could be that intamin was able to fit them in last moment, or something similar with another manufacturer. I think that is the major time barrier, not so much the actual design/engineering. I could be wrong though.
Very possible
If your theory is correct, it’s unlikely but possible that they would be adding a gerslauter, one like shellraiser where it has a launch and a lift hill as they haven’t added many coasters to parks this year and the holding breaks on many beyond vertical drops on gerslauters would align with the look down for the best views teaser
I’m hoping for a Rmc hybrid or something extremely similar to Pantheon I loved it when I rode Pantheon
I watched theme park predictions video before I like how you didn't blow this out of proportion like he did and you made it very realistic to what we could get tbh since they pulled this together last minute which kinda scares me since I am starting to doubt it's a custom layout which is pretty sad tbh.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT KIDDIE RIDES!!!!!!!!!
💀
💀
💀
Nooo I wanted a Togo giga!!!
@@JiscoDimmy💀
Awesome! Man I can’t wait to see what it is now. 20 million can get you a pretty good ride. I hope it’s a smaller launch coaster something like West Coast Racers would’ve been a great fit there. Can’t wait for the announcement and to see if it makes me want to go back to New Jersey next year or not lol
shocked and nervous that they are having a fifty year anniversary but are just kinda scrambling last minute to figure out a roller coaster.
Interesting call, I gotta start listening into these more.
Imaging it being a dueling Intamin Lsm with a stall going over the front entrance
Finally a new coaster
Could be worse, we could’ve been waiting since 2005 😂
Not really we just got jersey devil "kinda"
@@Jacobsgaming20000yeah I know but I meant like we haven’t really gotten a “big” coaster recently like at all
Only took 4 years
@@hvpon yea true
I’m surprised SFGAV was planned to get nothing. It seems like the coaster was finally added late in discussions for final additions and im very thankful it was. Nothing for such a milestone year for a park that survived this much would be a sin.
I'm not surprised, cause when the current CEO first came in, it sounded like he wasn't wanting to spend money on new coasters. Clearly, he's learned since then.
PLEASE BE AN INTAMIN MULTI-LAUNCH!! GOTHAM CITY ESCAPE CLONE!!!!
It sounds like it was a deal they couldn't pass up so I'm leaning towards a cancelled project for another park is now coming to GAdv. It really could be anything in that case. It does put the coaster going over the entrance speculation into question as it would need to be a custom design, but maybe they lucked out with the layout or there was still time to do some tweaking to make it work. I really need to see more markers being put down because I don't see how they can add a large scale coaster in that area. I can believe the catering area could be home to the plaza, queue, and station, but not that plus a large coaster.
Now we know they didn't have a coaster planned for 2024, does that mean the possible arena coaster was set for 2025?
Possibly
I think Its gonna be an Intamin 100%. I could see being a lsm I could but also since its so last minute I think the layout that's perfect that intiman already has that would work in this spot would be a Vertical Launch. The Layout thats 799m 2x12. I think there is gonna be some modification done to it though. Not much. I also think that six flags will be getting something else. Weither It be a flat ride or a sketty bowl. I think this will go by the old horror attraction. That would fill in all the area's with the markers, and if the oringal plan was to build something there, then with the massive increase build something across the way over the entrance I think thats whats gonna happen. Because they keep showing the number 2, in teasers.
from the sound of things it maybe a giga over the entarnce
@@NickyDeven still I don’t see how a giga would fit unless it goes all the way to superman/green lantern.
yoo I thought that Intamin figure 8 launch coaster was just a no limits 2 fan concept, amazing to see it really happen!!
I’m excited to see what my home park is getting!!
I'd love to get a Giga coaster. That area where the arena is right next to Medusa would be a perfect spot for it.
Figure 8 would honestly be lit idc if its cloneable. Throw one in great america in 2025 too. Custom layouts arent always great anyway
This would be a custom layout since it would be the first.
First on that call, “Last min addition sounds like an absolute red herring” there’s a lot I mean a lot deflections going on. The company is definitely keeping a lot of it under wraps. There’s no way something like this especially of this price tag, over 20 million does not scream “Clone” this all screams Custom.
We are getting a multi launch coaster ! A huge one!!! 🎉
Please make it bigger and better than Pantheon
They're sending SFMM's Green Lantern (currently in storage in Montreal) to Great Adventure. You heard it here first!😆
Umm guessing that the ride would go over the entrance sign which means there would be a long hill that would give good air time. Hopefully we’ll get something similar to west coast racers
Hopefully its a giga! 🤞🏽😌
I really hope it's either a ground up RMC like Steel Vengence or an intamin blitz coaster
LETS GOOOOO. I will say more when we get to see this coaster
Zamperla seems to want to up their game. I wonder if they gave Six Flags a deal on their Double Heart coaster. That would take up minimal room but have a big impact in the park.
i think a skyline makes sense since they already purchased two of them so maybe they got a good deal to extend the purchase, but just a guess
If they purchased another Skyline kiddie coaster its probably going to great escape since the park is more catered towards family's and they really dont see a lot of thrill coaster plus they are removing their bobsled coaster.
I hope it's a tribute roller coaster to Rolling Thunder
Intamin Figure 8, Zamperla Double Heart, Vekoma tilt. One of those are guesses.
Dorney and GA need to complete with Hershey
Looking through some intamin flyers and looking at the markings I think of all the prebuilt layouts available the one listed on their "vertical launch coaster" on the bottom right aligns quite well with the markings if mirrored. It even has a big airtime hill which could totally fly over the entrance it u placed the station either by cyborg or over by slingshot/the raceway. From what he said, it sounds like it may be an off the shelf model that may have had an extra turn added to it (kinda like wonder woman at sfmm did vs. the jersey devil layout) or was mirrored or something simple in that sense
Hopefully great adventure gets a intamin blitz like velocicoaster or a giga giving great adventure the greatest intamin collection
What if it custom, but it was an old project that Covid put on hold
True
That would be cool
@rollercoasterheaven2170 Hollywood Drift was put on holds during covid but has since resumed and has officially announced as a "Fast and Furious rollercoaster " on July 12.
Something from Intamin would be awesome
Yes
Definitely exciting news and hopefully a pivot back to thrill coasters for the chain as a whole!
NGL, with how good El Toro is, I would love to see another awesome woodie. How about a Gravity Group monster?
YOOOO THIS IS AWESOME NEWS!!!
Zamperla Double Heart or one of the three standard Lightning Coasters
I’m really hoping it’s not a clone or a layout that can be cloned, and hopefully this precedes a larger addition going in the back of the park in the near future. I’m just dying for a big custom layout for Great Adventure after all the clones we got and JDC getting cloned
While JDC was cloned, it was the first of its kind, so in my opinion, that counts as a custom layout.
not really when a single rail at SFTT was opened by then @@collinparsons3363
@@collinparsons3363it’s still custom considering Wonder Woman has an extra element at the end
What's the name of the current president of Six Flags Great Adventure?
Brian Bacica, and I think he’s an amazing fit and already doing a great job, he’s worked for big companies such as universal
bro it feels like all the new coasters are coming like dorney getting a new one, kings island, now this, top thrill 2
I like how everyone is like “it’s a Giga” and now it’s probably a ultra splash
Wasn’t the previous park president planning a 50th coaster that was canceled when the new CEO came in? Maybe that got the green light and it isn’t as last min as it seems. Just my thought
A giga coaster was heavily rumored, then those plans seemed to go away
Praying it’s a really big wild mouse coaster 🙏
I'm interested to see the theme of the coaster
Ahhhh haha yesssss another coaster!! My guess is *drum roll* A KIDDIE COASTER!!!!! 😁 nahh just kidding lol, well I’m hoping for a launch coaster but it a coaster that could possibly go across the entrance but we’ll see what happens later on this year and get some good news about the new coasted coming to SFGA
YAYYYYY
I'm going with an Intamin Hyper/Wing for SFGA, something like Skyrush would be an absolute banger addon to SFGA
They want a 5 Star coaster and the recent Intamin Blitz have been raving successes in all the parks worldwide. It makes sense they held off for so long with a multi launch. These babies are pricy and look at Warner Parque Madrid it took them 15 years to build a new coaster. Also with the bad press from the worlds best giga. I think they made the right decision. I don’t think that B&M Giga would’ve been what they really needed to stand out.
I LOVE how Six Flags steals the thunder from Dorney (especially the day they announced their 2024 coaster) 😞🤔
Should build a hanging launch coaster with many loops
Can't wait to see what it is
Im scared now tbh if it was last min its most likely a intamin cause b&m dont do last min but if it is last min i doubt its a big custom layout like we hope sadly its prob a off the shelf layout
Boomerang.....ive seen the footprint markouts and they are testing soil now
Since the last two newest rides were Lil Devil and Barn Stormers I pray it's not a Lil Nitro or Baby El Toro coaster. 😆
I think they’re hiding the fact this has been planned for a long time just not to ruin the surprise, I do think it’s intamin and I think it could be a new age hyper coaster maybe about 250 feet tall like a bigger Konda
That would be cool
Hopefully Magic Mountain doesn’t clone it again.
Who cares? That wouldn’t affect Great Adventure at all
The return of the GASM.
I’m just super worried that since it’s a last minute addition and “it usually takes a long time to plan a new coaster” that they are going for a cookie cutter ride - like a clone of an existing ride
Let’s hope no hacking happens like what happened with Top Thrill 2
I want an arrow looper to go there
hype
Hoping for some kind of dueling launch coaster called East Coast Racers 🔥
THIS😀this is the best idea
I hope it’s Vekoma’s new Ghost Ryder model 🤷🏽♂️
Why not the already designed Vekoma Hyper?
um why am i thinking Alpine Bobsled just announced its closing and wasn't it originally at Great adventure? what if they brought it back to its roots but with an upgrade.
Did they actually? I’m so glad I got a ride on it in 2021
hell to the no
I wonder how much the dragster update impacted this decision
I think if anything, it was purely based off the fact that it’s a big anniversary for the park
god i hope its a i305 clone
Whatever it is, it most likely won't be anything that really stands out across the country, if it's truly last minute, it isn't going to be anything special or custom, no way. I hope I'm wrong, but I won't be. We'll see.
Actually going there tomorrow, might see the hints
They need to plan the layout b4 anything so probably won’t see hints until mabye end august or somthin but you can totally see hints mabye idk
If it’s not a blitz ima cry
The amount they spent could have also been the cost for fixing el toro
I don’t think so, as that was 2023 work, not 2024 and would not be included in this number
They will build like a lunch coaster
What if it was the relocation of circuit breaker?
That’s certainly possible
@@ColiwoodStudios Hah
What’s even going on with that coaster
Maybe even the first t rex
Fiesta Texas is getting something if not coaster a nice flat rides
I’m pretty sure it’s very possible it’s going to be another Mack power splash.
thats not what the park is teasing
Maybe Six Flags gotten a good BOGO deal from Intimin
I kinda want a dive coaster ngl
Dorney’s getting one at least
@@therock238360 tru but great adventure cab fit a bigger one
Probably not gonna happen since Dorney is so close
please no
Wow. A little late to start construction on something wild though….
