  • One of the pinsetters at my local lanes. It performs a full cycle of setting pins, picking up and sweeping, sweeping after the second ball, and setting pins again.

This machine was brand new, direct from AMF when the center opened about a year ago. The logic controller says 90XLi EDGE on it.

I don't know what to tell ya. The "controller", Motors, and Bin, (which is all I can see in the video) may be parts that are standard on XLi machines, but, unless AMF went back to cast aluminum tables and everything else associated with that assembly, it is a rebuilt 8270. At 28 seconds in- look at the step plates. They are different from each other. AMF used different plates throughout the years. Why would they use different ones on brand new machines? Again, I'm just sayin'. A fine video Ryan.

Not a steel table, so it's a converted, rebuilt machine

That is not an 8290 XLi Edge. A converted 8270 yes, but not a true XLi. Not with that Table. Just sayin'.
